Phew we made hard work of that, well done Edinburgh for keeping us honest!! Have to thank goodness you were without Mark tbh. That rain played right into Edinburgh's hands, that 5-1 in the rain boosted their confidence no end. Would have liked more than the 10 really but that's what we've got, and to repeat Rory's mantra no last places lads!!

my goodness Rory getting some stick over wet weather!! As far as I'm aware (I accept I could be wrong) Rory hasn't refused to ride this season due to any reason, in fact probably been our most consistent rider over the season. Just tweeted a photo of him on a plane heading for Glasgow tonight.

as I said in my post it was just my opinion.I'm an Ipswich fan so PL results are irrelevant to me apart from when witches riders are racing as Kyle was!! Loved his 2 references to Ipswich in his interview, good lad is Kyle, hope he's a Witch for a long time.

Did find their Poole bias a little bit sickening last night tbh, they kept repeating that after 2 heats that Poole could have been 10-2 up blah blah!! And made themselves look foolish over tactical, for goodness sake it's an aggregate score over 2 legs you Muppets, how would it be fair to allow only 1 team the opportunity to use it!! Peterborough v reading final cough cough. Anyway that's just my opinion!! I personally like the more casual approach by the BT transmission over the Sky one, so hopefully we get more next season, however Rob I do think there is some merit in saying that live speedway is losing fans, that have turned into armchair fans.

Ok bit of a long shot here, knowing a few of you don't like riders doubling up , mind you this lad is actually what it all should be about, learning his trade in both leagues. and therein lies the problem!!They've been trying to put this into operation for years, but never been able to achieve it due to real constraints re stadia. I'm sure that hasn't gone away miraculously so what has changed to think it will be achievable?? However I do agree that fixed nights would alleviate the DU/DD problem somewhat but to force 3 CL clubs to make way, to me is not in the interest of British speedway.

Hasn't fixed night speedway been talked about forever?? Why is it that it has never materialised before now if it is so easy to put into practise Whilst I think we all agree it would be beneficial to the sport over here, let's not have a knee jerk reaction because 1 rider "threatens" to walk away, it should be for the benefit of British Speedway, and indeed ease the DU/DD fiasco somewhat. If as has been stated Monday and Thursday is being muted, I think that probably answers the second part of my post. Only 1 PL side races on Thursday, but 3 CL sides do, potentially putting 3 clubs out of business is hardly benefitting British Speedway is it Also, unless I am very much mistaken, isn't Monday the rainoff day for Poland? What happens then?
