The problem is, that the stadium owners won the appeal back in 2011, and were awarded £20,000 compensation. The Nimby's were claiming £500k compensation back then!! Can't get the original appeal decision up for reference, and the archives here don't go back that far, but I can remember we were all applauding the judge for finding in the stadium's favour. Sadly, not sure it can go to appeal again!!

Well I'm in favour of riders doubling up. Much rather have the lads earning their money in this country than flying backwards and forwards across Europe. Also without the D/U the EL would not have enough riders!!! What I don't agree with is the riders riding in all 3 leagues. If they are good enough to get an EL place, then they are far too good for NL racing IMO.

Well I enjoyed the meeting tonight. A decent balanced line up and one of the best finals I've witnessed for a long time. Happy Winter folks, and see you all raring to go in March. PS Nico Covatti has an interesting riding style doesn't he lol. Oops forgot to add well done to Morten.
