Swc The Final
Blackknight19 replied to tarabanko's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
IMHO I think Middlo deserves a lot of credit as does the team, ok we were never going to win but to actually get there was a great achievement by all those invovled, we just haven't got the strength in reserve to replace any rider injured or out of form, Stead and Harris were superb at Swindon but they haven't riden abroad against top opposition before and it showed tonight although Steady put up a better show than Screeny who gave his best as always. I don't think anybody else could have managed the team any better than Middlo has these last few days, perhaps its just sour grapes as he's in charge at Poole ??? -
Disgraceful decision to exclude Steve Johnston in heat 5, first of many i suspect !!!

Crumpy
Blackknight19 replied to 5-1 2 THE ACES's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Gollob did very well to miss Scotty in the semi but did you all notice as soon as Scotty got up he went over to Tomas to see how he was, shame Crumpie didn't do the same for Lindback earlier. -
Tonight at Poole
Blackknight19 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I thought what Andersen did was a disgrace, any bad feelings between Scotty and Hans will surely emerge on Thursday at Foxhall, can't wait. And who was the dickhead with a red flash on his camera..................... -
Who will win the World Cup??
Blackknight19 replied to Vincent Vega's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I taped the meeting on thursday, still got it aswell if you want to see it, get in touch and i'll send it to you. As for tonight, our best chance in years, as long as we don't suffer the same kind of nervousness Lindback had the other night we'll be fine. 1, Team GB 2, Sweden 3, Denmark 4, Poland Have to say it's very close to call but our superior strength in depth should see us through. -
Why was Lee Richardson excluded?
Blackknight19 replied to Storming Norman's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think Bjerre did nothing wrong in his race with Richardson, he certainly never touched him and Lee had to go for stopping the race, in Crumpie's case I think he should have been the one to be disqualified as Pedersen was out in front and leading comfortably when Jason went into the back of his bike as Pedersen was going wider and he was trying to cut back. -
Nicki Pedersen Spits Out His Dummy Again
Blackknight19 replied to REAPER's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
From someone who is not Nicki Pederen fan I thought it was a disgrace to disqualify him from heat 19 last night, he was out in front moving across to the racing line when Crumpie clipped his dirt deflector and went down faster than a speeding bullet, Scott Nicholls proved when he was clipped much harder by Greg Hancock that you do not have to cheat to win by diving to the floor like a spoilt italian footballer. In my opinion Crumpie could have stayed on his bike but knew it was Pedersen in front and went down too easily. -
What about Scott then!!
Blackknight19 replied to GeneralMelchett's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
What race were you watching, on my telly Scott was just about infront and gaining momentum when he lifted, if he'd have stayed on the bike he would have finished ahead of Jonsson to claim second place and a final slot. -

Crumpie tantrum?
Blackknight19 replied to Bulldog's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
To my young children and I it was not unexpected, last season Crumpie went through the card at Foxhall scoring an 18 point maximum but then lost out to Scotty for the bonus point, after the meeting my children and I went to the pit area for the rider autographs only to be confronted by Crumpie f...ing and blinding in front of anyone who was there. Needless to say my children and I were not very impressed, in total contrast to that, after beating the Coventry Bees the season before last, my children and I approached the motor home of Billy Hamill and Greg Hancock looking for their autographs and after waiting patiently for their turn, my children and I were asked inside where we were given a tour which finished with signed photos of both riders. True gentlemen who need not swear at the slightest set back.
