Can Birmingham fit in Connor Bailey ?
-
I said the pride of Scotland , not the noisy neighbours

To be fair to Arthur and his ilk . It's tough for them to understand how things are in the Championship . There are two types of rider in our league . Those who ride for Glasgow Tigers and those who wish they rode for Glasgow Tigers . Now the pressure of having such an accolade placed upon them has proved too heavy a burden on some of them in the past . But this septet assembled for 2023 look a terrifying prospect for the rest of the league . And you can only see the pride of Scotland steamrollering their way through the season .

Glasgow look like the Harlem Globetrotters of the Championship in 2023 , so it's just a matter of who finishes runner up . While the other seven clubs will finish above Edinburgh
-
Michael Penfold trumps that

We had that conversation at Shawfield back in the glory years when we were thumping everyone at home . It does actually get boring after a while . Give me what we have now every time , and if we manage to win something - fine , if not then as long as the entertainment on view stays the same .

But we are considerably , considerably richer than you

Thats the two from last season that we really wanted back now secured

I see Son of God has signed for Leicester . That possibly makes the Jubilee Cup thingy even sillier
-
Agreed , Neil Collins in 92 was a bit of a disappointment, but when he came back a few season later he was more like a number 1 . The same could happen with Harris

All except Paul Thorp

Seems he is leaving Berwick with Leon Flint being announced today as Berwick's 2023 captain

Brennan riding at 5 last season will have kept his average in check . Would definitely have him back along with , as rumoured, Harris , Nowak and Vissing to make a solid top 5

With 16 home league matches next year , and with Ben back , even more nights to watch the racing through the gaps between my fingers when they're covering my eyes

Beginning to think it will be

If Kyle Howarth is still unfit to ride tomorrow night , should Leicester not bring in Woffinden , Bewley or Lindgren to fill the gap . That seems to be the tried and trusted method to clinch titles this season -

I can see this being decided with a game of rock , paper , scissors -

When's the final then ? lol -
Why not ? We're paying pretty much the same admission fee as Premiership fans

That depends if it can go past heat 10 or not -
Think the fall out after the promoters conference could be interesting. The rumour is that the points limit in our league will drop to around the 39/40 point mark . I assume this is to re-establish more of a gap between us and the Premiership rather than some misguided money saving exercise. The excuses levelled in the past at the amount of riders performing in both leagues was - " not enough riders " or " we need to be in both leagues to make it pay " . Well it looks like a good few of the Championship heat leaders will be forced to give up the second tier which won't go down well .
