Very happy to have Claus back, determined, passionate and a hell of a nice guy.

That is a tremendous team. Well done on a great build. Early doors but can't see you being anything other than strong favourites for the title.

Another great event for Scotland. Happy about that.

Highs
- The best action at Ashfield in years, the new track shape is fantastic and some remedial work on the base over the Winter should make it even better.
- The test match with Tai Woffinden. Meeting itself fell flat but the build up and pre meeting atmosphere were superb.
- The World Under 21 Team Championship lots of new talent to watch and keep tabs on. Jan Kvech was a new one to me with Lidsey as impressive.
- Tuesday feared the worst got the best!
Lows -
- Stewart Dickson cutting ties with the Tigers. A massive figure at the club who I always enjoyed listening to.
- Richie Worrall for similar reasons to Stewart, to see him struggling on a track he previously bossed at times was baffling.
- Lewi Kerr getting another huge injury. Lovely guy deserves better.
Overall
This has been my favourite season for a while purely because I am watching some superb speedway.

Call me cynical but this surely has to be about 'buying a meeting' rather than a real Test Match?
The Glasgow Promotion is owned by Allied Vehicles who sponsored Team GB in the recent Speedway of Nations so surely this has got to be some sort of payback along with the fact that 5 out of the 12 riders involved ride for BV and the other major sponsor for this meeting just happens to be BV's major sponsor or 'partner'.
As a SPEEDWAY fan based in Scotland I was looking forward to a meeting with big names but even now 5 of the 6 GB riders double down in the CL anyway but the fact this is so commercialised has put me off going especially with the fact there is a booking fee for advanced tickets.
Speedway fails yet again.Christ the Reverend I.M Jolly is reborn.

We've booked ours -- but will there be a pay-at-the-door facility, or is it tickets only?
Pay at gate for any tickets left.

Yes large viewing area on the back straight. The GrandStand has sold out. You can walk around the whole track and find your spot.

C Holder and Doyle so far, no biggie

Gary Flint passed on the link, I was looking forward to seeing Leon race, sadly all I got was the music, the 2 minutes and the roar of engines, everything was too farv away to work out who was racing.
If you can sort out the problems willing to look again in the future.
Noted.

Thanks Gazc, in fairness it was pretty low rent however it was just a one off using equipment I own, which isn't much! Goes without saying if it was ever to be a regular thing then the club would invest in the hardware to improve the production quality.

Apologies, I just did it as a wee extra so that friends and family could follow. Had hoped to have a commentator but that fell through. Thought that Michael Max giving the line ups and results would be enough for people to follow on a free stream but appreciate that the filming location was too far away. You live and learn.

Definitely a head scratcher.
Achilles heal all year has been a lack of punch at both ends of the team. JS returning to some kind of form gives a glimmer of hope, but one heat win from our top 2 over 2 away matches is not going to cut it.
Staring down the barrel of just 5 more Tigers meetings at Ashfield this year, surreal.

Teams for the Glasgow round are
GB, Australia, Germany and the Czech Republic. July 14th.
Should be good, Lambert and Bewley stick ons and Jack Thomas has to have a sniff if he continues his improvement.
Pickering and Lidsey for Australia probably not sure how old Jordan Stewart is?
Kramer for Czech Republic
And Germany no idea

Track was very poor last night which completely spoiled the event. However a win is a win over the nearest and dearest.

From the outside looking in it does appear horribly convoluted, but does enable them to say they are still cheaper than Glasgow..... If you buy a Gold Card, scratch your nose, do 10 squats, buy online, take the dog for a walk, buy a Blue Card and turn up before lunchtime on a Friday. Job done.

Glasgow v Edinburgh Grand Final. Monarchs team has a load of young, hungry talent with their usual home advantage.
-
Heavy hints on Reel45 podcast that Max Ruml is your final signing.
-
Apologies no just an educated guess.
-
Sedgmen
Pijper
And A Morris to finish.
Not a bad team but unlikely to challenge
-
So looks like the Tigeratti arent overly impressed with another season of a 2 pointer and what effectively becomes a six man team.
Other than you? Who else?

Of course how poor of us not to use the promise of limitless Irn Bru, Post match Buckie and deep fried Mars bars to lure these riders from their Southern bases... We will do that next year so that it is fairer for you. ...
Get it right round 'ye
