I was of the belief that the Ruskies were happy to sell off tyres and equipment at the end of a tour as dollars / pounds were a benefit to them. Is this a fair reflection that the 'theft' was arse covering when things went a bit muddy?

A big thumbs up to Peter Oakes in this weeks Star for his 'Just Saying...' column regarding the drug issue (or not!). A well balanced article.

At least wait until the clocks go forward. It's warmer and brighter (allegedly)

So it's not Torquay?

Apologies for not giving more information. I was economical to avoid getting a forum 'Red card'. Yes, Kenny Ingalls was wiped out.

Together with being 'caught' at Tesco parking Leicester with a dragged out meeting, i considered the above was enough to stop me attending Birmingham Speedway and also to not shop at the One Stop.
Am I alone?
PS: I do miss playing 'frogger' across the A34 when the flyover was there!

Make that four reasons.....
Allow for the first meeting to be allocated to 'Women Racing' ... woops.
Seriously though we must remember that juniors are going at faster speeds than 90% of most our heroes ever did.

Even in earlier times travelling was a 'mare, so as a group of Wolves fans (many cars), we would pre-plan mass Proggy ordering & meet at Barton Arms. Those with a good journey, got more beer in! Then a burst up the '34 to the One Stop for parking.
This makes me focus on lack of parking as an issue, especially if ever crowd increase occurred. Similar to Leicester's sun delays and run a fine at Tesco parking. In both cases get caught once, don't go again!
As for the 'outside viewing', since the bouncy castle fences went in, it's become non existent! At least it reminds me of Crayford & London revamp @ Hackney!
Apologies for being so negative / realistic

It was rumoured that the Hotel said a bond must be paid upfront to ensure that they completed their stay and didn't default on extra costs typically putting extra guests into the rooms or cancelling the rooms at no notice on the day!. Also, as they hadn't stayed there for at least 2 years they couldn't vote against this ruling.
The promoters replied, "This is a disgrace, it's poor encouragement to get more to attend, it's totally bad practice, nobody else operates like that ......"

Does Phil Morris get an invite to attend this?

It would be reassuring to have a new "Five Year plan", providing they think League Speedway can continue for that long?
