Dont think it is a problem? He will be riding at Scunthorpe Friday for them and as it seems at Berwick Saturday and they are not riding Saturday so he will not miss any meetings so cant get banned.I assune Scunthorpe would be just asking their riders not to take open bookings in case of injury if they make Final? -

Reading between the lines it looks as if he will be in Bordernapolis irrespective of how Scunthorpe do on Friday!! -

Did he not have to return home early as his Mother in Law was seriously ill? -

Correct me if I am wrong? I was at the meeting and was none too impressed with the track, given I was looking from terraces and not riding it!The second bend in particular seemed to be causing no end of problems but hey I am no Track Custodian it is just an observation! In fact I feel that from watching TV meetings this season with the odd exception track prep. has been poor. -

My first trip north for a month and superb, well done everyone after the worries about the rain. Hard to believe we had five men set up for a race off for second and third and Paul Clews had to sit out as he had slowest time of the five. Complin was unlucky too and but for an exclusion might have won it! Only disappointment , where was regular Announcer Dennis McLeary? -

Please get your facts correct or do not print stories like this! I know for a fact that having spoken with John Anderson earlier today (as I wanted to know line up before I travel and who better to get it from) that he spoke again this morning to Norrie Allan (Chris Harris Manager) who again confirmed that only unavoidable illness/injury would prevent Chris from taking up his commitment to Berwick Speedway on 24th October. Either withdraw or retract your post or confirm your source please! -
Pl 4 Team Tournament 25/07

It must be time to bring back the Rounds of the Fours and have the Final again at neutral EL track? Fans want it and surely cannot be too hard to fit in another meeting per track for a Round which brings in good support? With 14 teams you would need 2 x 5 groups and 1 x 4 with one team missing a round at each of the groups of five. Three teams go through as winners and the best overall runner up. How about: GROUP A Berwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Redcar GROUP B Workington, Stoke, Birmingham, Sheffield, Scunthorpe GROUP C Newport, Rye House, Somerset, King's Lynn Groups can be open to discussion? -

Dont be so sure! Berwick have decent record on IOW and must surely choose Doyle for Rymel?
