I went to Midenhall v Rye House Cobras last Sunday and was very suprised at the size of the crowd. Very small considering it was a local derby. probably about 50 Rye fans. I know it clashed with the England 20/20 Cricket final but can't believe that would have made much difference to the attendance figures. Kings Lynn, Rye House and Dudley need to be their just to boost the crowd figures.

Which Semi ? Kings Lynn or Sheffield. Possible withdrawels from Roynon,Mear or Haines

Has Robert Mear been practicing anywhere ?? Not seen him at Rye.

Speedway Star has the Final as 5th Sept.

1st time visitor to Ipswich. Really looked forward to the meeting as soon as i saw the line ups, but came away very disappointed. No atmosphere, very little passing. Whether King and Bridger would have made any difference to the result we will never know Just came away form the meeting feeling very let down by the whole nights action.

Any team news? See that Danny King had to pull out of last nights match after just 1 race.

Does anyone know what has happened to Marc Owen? haven't seen his name mentioned any where lately.

Found this on a World Speedway Website(http://www.worldspeedway.com/artman/publish/article_9173.shtml). It is a Qualifying Round 1 for this U21 Championship. Note the No 6 rider Benjamin Barker !!. Seems strange is he getting 2 chances to qualify for the next round. If he were to win on Friday i thought he would automatically jump to the next round. Seems a bit odd to me.

Any news on the admission prices ?

Top 4 Prediction Tom Brown Darcy Ward Danny Halsey Simon Lambert Up to a few weeks ago i would have said Danny to win, but seems to be struggling a bit me. Tom Brown looked good this season both times he visited Rye, and Darcy Ward looked very good last week for Boston after his 1st ride. Not sure how fit Lambert is after last weeks fall . Rob Smith as an outsider.

Mentioned on the night about it not being as loud as in previous years, not complaining, remembered this year to take ear plugs but never used them.

Kings Lynn aren't there because due to the fact the " best pair in the league " weren't good enough in Heat 15 which was the criteria used this year. Kings Lynn own fault .

Birmingham top the Premier Trophy Group C, but have only completed 2 full meetings. As Heat 15 results count towards deciding who goes through to the Premier Pairs Final will the committee come up with a new ruling, or does this make a good case for Birmingham being awarded the wild card spot as Somerset seem certain to qualify automatically.
