  1. While I understand there will be a lobby for Woffinden I think it would be a travesty if he were picked ahead of Janusz. Look at the Polish and Swedish league stats:

    (from aktuellspeedway.se)

    Poland:

Kolodziej 3rd on 9.09 (these are aves exc bonus, add in bonus and he overtakes Pedersen to finish second behind Gollob)

    Woffinden 43rd on 4.41

    Sweden

    Kolodziej 3rd on 8.68

Woffinden 66th on 4.27 (below Ricky Kling, Kauko Nieminen, Kim Nilsson, Krzysztof Jablonski, Krzysztof Buczkowski and Tomasz Jedrzejak - maybe they should be in the GP?)

How does Scott Nicholls and Lee Richardson averages compare to Kolodziej's

  2. yes but then dudley wouldnt have been there.i make the prediction now that there will be more dudley fans there than any other team.including mildenhall

I went to Midenhall v Rye House Cobras last Sunday and was very suprised at the size of the crowd. Very small considering it was a local derby. probably about 50 Rye fans. I know it clashed with the England 20/20 Cricket final but can't believe that would have made much difference to the attendance figures.

Kings Lynn, Rye House and Dudley need to be their just to boost the crowd figures.

  3. With Lyons out surely the Stars must be let into this event. It's bad enough going there watching 2 second strings from my own team when arguably the best pair in league aren't there instead of them. No disrespect to Birmingham, but for the good of the event they should withdraw.

Kings Lynn aren't there because due to the fact the " best pair in the league " weren't good enough in Heat 15 which was the criteria used this year. Kings Lynn own fault .

  4. At the Eastbourne staging of the British under 21 Championship it was stated that the top three scoring eligible riders would get places in the Euro under 19 championship. Glanz participated in that meeting. Perhaps the riders under 19 who finished above him did not wish to accept the nomination. If so he is there on merit as the British nomination. And good luck to him.

the other 2 Brits should be going in the other semi-final at Daugavpils, Lativa on July 14 ( according to Speedway star 14/04/07 )

I thought i read that somewhere that Woffinden Bridger and ANother had been nominated. July 14 co-incides with Rye House rockets Northern Tour !!
