Ok lets look at it another way. why is it that all GP riders ride in Poland & Sweden or DK but they do not ride in the UK (all of them) OK so maybe the other leagues pay more (why cant the UK do the same? - reason poor promotion = poor crowds = lack of money)
The other main reason - Too much travel to complete fixtures in UK. solution, promoters need to agree on two back to back days when tracks can have back to back meetings if they continue to insist on one home meeting each during most weeks of the season.
Promoters need to make the prospect for top speedway in the UK appealing to both fans and riders - then they will get the right quanity of both attending the meetings to make EL speedway worthy of the name
I am pretty sure that the Danish riders have to ride Danish League to be able to compete in the Danish Championships and get entry in the WC events, is Woffinden still eligible/able to ride in the British Championship in 2015

I feel Ostergaard will be numero uno in 2015
You could be right but not at Plymouth

Talking in riddles again, Riggers. Who the hell's MacAnthony, and why would I want to educate him. Got enough on my plate trying to talk sense into some Panther fans.
You should be able to understand him then because you have a degree in talking complete bollox

Good signing by the comets - very happy
Team has got to be along the lines of:
1. Kenneth Hansen (7.70)
2. Rene Bach (7.64)
3. Mason Campton (4.66)
4. Nicki Barrett (3.93)5. Ricky Wells (6.49)
6. Adam Roynon (4.78)
7. Claus Vissing (7.09)
Most of the Peterborough fans are happy as well.

I have heard that Simon Lambert was not very happy to be picked by Leicester in the draft as had agreed a deal with Workington for 2015 which he can no longer honour.
No one forced him to be on the list.

Alex Davies 7.38 on final PL GSA

Flagrag do you happen to know what Is Lionkings official position is a BP cos I reckon he either works in the burger van as he has a massive chip on his shoulder or toilet attendant as he does come out with some sh*te
Why don't you ask Hemsley, he knows everything apparently.
-
Hans is a good option & looks like he might not be back at Coventry either.
I don't think so
-
I think your wrong, definately capable of improving on his average and will be a solid scorer home and away, just because he has ridden for eastbourne doesnt make him a one track pony, didnt have his best season last year and dont see that he is worse than any other rider on a. 6.32 average or lower
Blokes been around for years and flits between third heat leader and reserve until last year, very good around Arlington but that won't be much help in 2015.
Woodward is a good second string at best, I seriously doubt he will up his average this year.
-
do you know hes expensive ? might actually be willing to ride for less than some of the british bassed riders you have in mind
he maybe actually wants to ride for workington unlike the riders you listed
Do you honestly believe that, BSPA needs fans like you, lol
-
rumer, and only that,he may be off to the panthers
I hope your joking

wouldnt that be from 2014 regs though.
2015 not yet published??
Of course, 2015 regs won't be out until January next year.
-
Regulations say thus
If a Rider has only an EL Established MA from the previous season, then a conversion is necessary; the EL MA is divided by 0.6, subject to the maximum converted MA being 12.00
Looks like 0.6, sorry tel

Simple solution, do a Sean Wilson/Joe Screen. Have a few bad meetings, drop average to below 6 and bobs your fathers brother. Rorys average is 6.22, only takes 2 terrible meetings scoring 1 or 2 and he'd get a nice, newer, low enough average.
Certainly worked for King last year, and shouldn't be too difficult for Watt or Schlein either.

Nicki Pedersen.Trouble is,if you are led to believe what CVS says, they are all queueing up to join Wolves. [/
But not Woffinden apparently.

Hope the rest of the money can be found over these next few days. Bit of a delayed post, but nice of bigcatdiary to make himself known to me at the fans event last month Let's hope the Panthers can race on into 2015 and beyond!
Your welcome

just going with the Hansen signing from the worky thread, and apparent missed point from the agm was the conversion rate. If true, what a royal balls up from the BSPA.
It's not a balls up, it's been deliberately left out of the AGM statement, after all it's not quite as important as changing the yellow helmet colour to yellow and black is it.
This crap just goes on and on
-
Apparently it's to open up some of the EL riders to the PL, I wouldn't mind betting this was proposed just so one club could sign a certain Lynn rider, it will interesting to see who he signs for.
-
They always seem to miss something out of their AGM statement.
Yep and hears another one
Workington have announced the signing of Hansen tonight on a PL GSA of 7.70
It appears the EL to PL conversion rate is now 0.40, strange I didn't see that on the AGM statement.
-
Do they not have to lodge a bond with the BSPA?
Not sure how many £k that would be.
15k apparently
