The ruling is a little odd. If a rising star still #7 is unavailable it has to be a guest selected from the Rising Star list excluding any rider who is already in a Premiership line-up. However if, as in the case of Dan, that rider is now in the main body of the team, RR can be used or a guest from the Rising Star list regardless as to whether he is already in a Premiership line-up. This is subject to that guest rider not having a CMA exceeding that of the rider he is in place of.

Scott can be used but only as a guest#1, ie., for Jason.

It seems Birmingham might have applied for the wrong visa, invitational or the same one which allowed Freddie to ride in Charles Wright's Testimonial and Peter Craven Memorial at the start of this season. I am no expert on visas however.

I would just add that at the time the fixture list was announced (8.12.23) neither Lampart nor Pawlicki had been signed. So does this come under the category of unforeseen?

Bjarne Pedersen currently holds the record, 22+1 on 22.7.2005 riding for Poole at Arena Essex. He had 7 rides which included a golden double scoring 4 when finishing behind team mate Matej Ferjan.

Not really an option as he is already riding in both Poland and Denmark.

No interest in this meeting apparently which is being shown live on BSN Both teams at full strength. Sam Hagon comes in to replace Joe Thompson as rising star for Leicester. Could be a close meeting.

The regulations just say this: 011.3 TEAM LINEUPS 011.3.1 Premiership League a) the top rider (by MA) must ride at #1 b) the 2nd to 5th riders (by MA) can ride in any position #2-#5. c) the Rising Star rider must ride at #7 unless they achieve an MA which permits them to be in the top 5 then the lowest MA rider must ride at #7

This meeting takes place in a week's time. Strangely, there appears to be no mention of it on this forum or anywhere else much. It is, however, being streamed by BSN which is only reason I knew about it in the first place following their email.
