  1. I don't know but when Sky were the broadcasters it was a minimum of eight I believe. There were, of course, only six teams last year and 2021.
  2. Yes it was and became the latest farce in the sport. This involved Adam Ellis and Nick Morris in the Play-Off final between Poole and King's Lynn. Both clubs had riders missing through injury, Brady Kurtz for Poole and NKI, Stars. Poole booked Nick Morris to guest and King's Lynn, Adam Ellis. However, Morris was only eligible for the first leg at Poole as his CMA was only below that of Kurtz once the '5% rule' had been applied. So Poole then asked Ellis to guest for them in the second leg at King's Lynn. At the same time, the Stars asked Morris to ride as a guest for them. It is possible that neither club knew of this until team sheets were submitted. In the end the BSPL intervened allowing Morris to continue riding for Poole and Ellis, King's Lynn.
  3. I think you have misunderstood this statement. I believe it means no return to ride at Belle Vue this season.
  4. The play-offs have been put back by one week in order to catch up on outstanding fixtures which should allow Wolves to visit on 7th September. However, Jack will probably be back by thern.
  5. Yes, I watched the last SGP as a delayed start on the Discovery+ app.
  6. I don't see a great deal of difference here than Jonny Bairstow carrying off a 'just stop oil' protester from the pitch at Lords a few weeks ago.
  7. There is a discrepancy between both Clubs' previews published on Sunday. The Stars made this statementThe Stars also have Chris Harris on standby to guest at No.1 should he be required to replace Artem Laguta, following his ankle injury last week. then Wolves included this in their preview With a doubt over the fitness of 2021 World Campion Artem Laguta, King's Lynn have named Chris Harris as a guest at No.1 Therefore it is perfectly possible for Wolves to have produced amended programmes as early as Monday morning.
  8. Hume isn't exactly 4.00. He will have an average whereby the third decimal point used either, rounds it up or down to 4.00. Rew's average is lower than 4.00 now but, any rider who starts the season on an assessed average, is not allowed to drop below 4.00.
  9. Erik scored 12+1 from 5 rides for Redcar this evening whilst Danny dropped just one point. Not the strongest opponents though, Berwick.
  10. Not as good as Connor Bailey who scored 10+1 including 2 race wins, 1 paid win, on the rising stars list and available.
  11. The Krosno v Gorzow meeting yesterday and abandoned after nine heats, does that constitute a result or will it have to be re-staged?
  12. Companies House has Keith and Cheryl Chapman as directors, nobody else. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/11682321/officers
  13. So many gusts? Plenty of gusts of wind from you OB as usual! lol.
  14. In this instance Poland probably do have priority and this is why. Lublin v Krosno (Jack's club) was scheduled originally for 21st April but postponed and re-set for tonight. However, at that time Wolves were to be hosting round 1 of the Pairs so, had this gone again ahead, we would have retained priority. But as Wolves v Sheffield is a fixture change arranged after the Polish match had been re-scheduled, they get first call on his services.
  15. Streamed via BSN. Wolves have booked Scott Nicholls once again whilst Nick Morris rides for Sheffield in place of Jack Holder. Details: http://www.wolverhampton-speedway.com/news.php?extend.3678
  16. Yes, but only if the opposing team is in agreement I would imagine.
  17. I wonder how long Ipswich will be permitted to run RR for Riss as he must have been out for 28 days + by now. I am comparing this to the situation Wolves are in now having to use the guest facility only for Becker up to 75% of his CMA.
  18. Yes. 010.4 TEAM NOTIFICATIONS Home teams must notify their opponents of the team line-up at least 5 days before the meeting to which the away team must respond within 24 hours with their team line-up. Notifications must be in writing, include MA’s and where applicable, the reason for facilities being used. At least 3 days before the meeting, the home promotion must log the team line-ups, including NJL and MSDL teams, at the nominated SCB website. The information must include each riders MA, details of any rider in a team’s current declaration who will be missing, the full reason for absence and the facility being used along with the name and MA of any guest rider. Further necessary changes must be notified, with reasons given, to the nominated SCB website, opponents, BSP LTD office and Referee as soon as they are known
  19. I don't know what the ruling is. Vatcher appears to have introduced one which doesn't appear to be in the 2023 SCB regs. Perhaps he, and others in the BSPL, were miffed by the fact Wolves included Scott as a temporary replacement for Luke then went back to their original declaration after Nicholls was injured in Poland just before Wolves' home fixture v Belle Vue on10th April.
  20. Jason set for his third full house in a row, Sweden yesterday, Poole today, both 15 point maximums.
  21. This Saturday, 13th May, sees the 'Celebrating Hackney Speedway' event. Details here: https://www.pwpark.com/events/celebrating-hackney-speedway/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/1981040038888988/permalink/3661160094210299/
