  1. The rules governing this situation are contained in the Speedway Regs. 10.5 These have been amended this year:- This facility will apply automatically for a period up to a maximum of 28 days. The Promotion may apply to the SCB Co-Ordinator for an extension Presumably this means that a club must have demonstrated having actively sought a replacement rider for an extension to be granted.
  2. They'll have to ride against someone next Monday. Only two home fixtures have been completed so far this year and their next free Monday is not until 17th July. So it will either have to be Ipswich plus guest ( Bewley or Kurtz) or they will need to shuffle their fixture list.
  3. No re-staging date has been announced yet but it will be, probably, next Monday now that the pairs at Wolves is no longer taking place.
  4. Max Fricke rides as a guest for the Panthers whilst the Witches continue using RR for Erik Riss. Full preview:https://ipswichwitches.co/raceday-preview-peterborough-knockout-cup-semi-final-first-leg-a/ This fixture is due to be shown by BSN but the weather forecast for tomorrow is so poor I think this is unlikely to go ahead.
  5. The reason being put forward for reducing the pairs to a single event is to catch up on postponed meetings. Therefore, I cannot understand why Wolves home leg against Sheffield has been slotted in for the 15th now. Wolves only home postponement was against Leicester so why is that not being re-staged then?
  6. Yes, he was brought in as a temporary signing once original RS Jack Thomas was injured. How long Jack is likely to be out I don't know.
  7. I thought Kerr was sidelined for 9 days with concussion following his crash at Oxford last Wednesday.
  8. I looked here again just now. Perhaps it is out of date. Hoping for 6.15 though! https://www.tvguide.co.uk/mobile/channellisting.asp?ch=400#677455804
  9. We'll wait to see. If it is the BBC forecast you are looking at I find their predictions increasingly inaccurate. The Met Office is a much better gauge, dry and sunny for Monday
  10. Scores riding as a guest do not count towards average calculations.
  11. Scott is not at Wolves. Their latest declaration has Becker back in the side.
  12. Meeting starts in just over an hour and, strangely, no thread started. Line-ups: EDINBURGH: Josh Pickering, Lasse Fredriksen, Kye Thomson, Paco Castagna, Craig Cook, Kyle Bickley, Jacob Hook.BERWICK: Thomas Jorgensen, Jonas Knudsen, Leon Flint, Jye Etheridge, Rory Schlein, Connor Coles, Nathan Stoneman.
  13. Confirmed here: https://britishspeedway.co.uk/premiership/thursdays-premiership-team-news-form-guide/
  14. Either you have mis-read the meeting preview or it has been amended subsequently but it shows RR for Riss.
  15. Jason failed to win a race at Oxford this evening. Scott scored a paid maximum.
  16. You can only have a guest to replace any of the top three riders by CMA. Riss is fourth in the averages.
  17. A further worry for Ipswich is the fact that Riss, originally in Redcar's lineup for tonight's match v Birmingham but subsequently postponed, pulled out yesterday and Steve Worrall was booked as a guest. On the matter of postponements I now make this the 17th, including abandoned without a result declared so far this season.
  18. Oxford are riding on Wednesday against Plymouth which also rules out former Bee, Ben Barker.
  19. The correct term is suspension but he will miss the meeting against Belle Vue next Thursday. Danny, Keynan and reserves eligible to take his rides.
  20. New line-up, taken from Aces Website: 1 Charles Wright, 2 Robert Lambert, 3 Justin Sedgmen, 4 Brady Kurtz, 5 Chris Harris, 6 Matej Zagar, 7 Max Fricke, 8 Tom Brennan, 9 Jason Doyle, 10 Hans Andersen, 11 Kye Thompson, 12 Niels-Kristian Iversen, 13 Tobiasz Musielak, 14 Jaimon Lidsey, 15 Norick Blodorn, 16 Dan Bewley RESERVES: 17 Jake Mulford, 18 Jack Smith
  21. Only a pre-season challenge being held mid-week. I would not expect many spectators.
  22. The whole meeting is on youtube starting here. I've not had time to view it yet.
