    Polish Winter 2005/2006

In Krakow from Thursday 25th to Sunday 28th May. If they were to last that long, how far from the city centre, what night do they ride, and do you have any other info?

    Polish Winter 2005/2006

I've been to Gdansk once and Sopot once, and missed meetings due to timing - the first time I was getting ready for a wedding, and could hear practice from my hotel, the second time the meetings were on a bank holiday monday, when we were flying home! Anyway, I'm off to Krakow on a stag do in May (around the 11th). Is there any chance of seeing any Speedway? I think we're going Thursday to Sunday night.

    GP 2005

Is the change in format definite? I think they've got it spot on now. I've been to several GP's and don't miss one on the TV, and I can't see how the new format improves it. Also you get to see more riders and more spoilers. One of the lower placed riders can always pop out and upset things. Will this happen in the new format or are we just going to see the same top 6-8?
  4. Disgusting and dirty, and I can't see how anyone can defend it. It also shows that he's still got that slightly crazy streak, and there's still plenty of time for him to cock up and regain his number 2 slot.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggggg ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg gggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry; one post too far from JY. I've been to the Czech Republic and Poland, and absolutely love both places and the people. So there was some drunk Poles. I'm assuming you've been to Cardiff? Anyone drunk and out of order? Mainly the Brits? Don't tar them all with the same brush. And you wonder why you get stick?

    Hans Andersen

Point missed again Fair enough Sweden won. Well done. Did Andersen, shut off and allow PK throught whilst covering Scotty? Did all his comments and body language suggest he was lying and didn't give a s**t when interviewed?
  7. You are actively encouraging people to email the guys sponsors. You should read what you signed up for when you joined this site. " A lot of people on this web site have broken many of the above 'rules' (and I use rules in the loosest sense of the word as the owners of this site don't seem to give a toss) over the last 24 hours. Congratulations Sam....

Like him, but tried to hard, and having heard Nigel Pearsons commentary today, would rather he did it.
  10. "Is there anything in the world of speedway that poole are not the best at ? . Answers on a postcard ." Being humble/normal! Sorry Mr Shovlar, who I agree with on a number of occassions, but if theres someone trying to nick my space at the bar / being lairy / threatening / obnoxious, it always seems to be a Poole fan!

    How was your GP day??

Arrrived in Cardiff about 2.30ish. Stuck around City Barge, Gatekeeper. Saw in no particular order; Andy Fordham, Exeter barmy army(all 6 of them, but good people all the same), Sophie from about 10 yards (swoon, swoon!!!!), the roughest hen party ever, arrogant Poole fans, some Poles from Poznan, who I decided weren't authentic cos' they lived in Henley and Ealing, and got Billy Hamill's book signed as an early fathers day present. Tony Hadley, racing, atmosphere, all fantastic. For the final, my wife would have won £10 if Adams had won, I would have won £24 if Crumpy had won, and we won £60 for Greg winning, yet Lee was the one we were shouting for! Home by 2am. Thanks Dad for driving, and only regret was not meeting/saying hello to forum members.
  12. Quite fancy checking out the Cardiff Bay area pre-meeting. Don't worry there are bars there! Can any Waspies or anyone tell me how far it is from the Mill Stad, and how to find it?
