    Your Worst Rain-off Experiences

In the seventies traveled to Newcastle from Workington rained off twice before finally getting to see the meeting on the third attempt, Glasgow a few years ago against Leicester travelled up on the train booked a hotel got into the stadium , track work carried out for about an hour and a half only for the track to be declared unfit, traveled to Redcar for Robbos testimonial a few weeks ago got to the stadium an hour before the start only to find it was off.
  7. Not so much negativity Gordon just disappointment from travelling fans who arrived in dry weather to find it off, all round bad news especially for Robbo . Yes many did not know the full story until a few hours later about the state of the track , hopefully Robbo can get another date arranged to get this meeting on . Stuart Robson’s last official meeting was at Workington in October 2018.

    Redcar 2023

Just watched a short video interview of Robbo saying the track was not fit to race the track had work carried out yesterday but overnight rain ruined it, yes an earlier call off might have helped...I traveled over from Cumbria with my nephew and arrived at the gate only to be told it was off.

    Workington 2023

Some great work being carried out by the team , well done to all concerned.
  21. Some decent racing in the main event but would have helped with helmet colours and being a bit more professional and not as drawn out.I suppose thats the way of North American Speedway not as professional as in Europe. The young chap called Cairns looks a very good prospect for the future .
