No Star for me again only got last weeks this Wednesday.

Can see. a slow progression in stadium facilities and team structure , Rome was not built in a day , if we can win home meetings be entertaining to watch then that is the main thing.

Still not still not received last weeks copy , the postal service is very poor , getting to be a weekly issue , only getting letters about twice a week.

It's the first positive news in League Speedway for 20 years.
Anyone who can find a negative needs to re - set and remember why they started watching the sport all those years ago.
This absolute obsession with numbers / assessed averages it's all bull rubbish.
People, more particularly first time visitors, want to get value for money and be entertained.
Nothing more, nothing less.Quote from Aussie rider

Not sure why people on here have just lazily assumed we’d be in the market for riders like Theo Pijper, Aarnio etc.
If and its a big if the team you have posted is the Workington team then you do yourself and the club no favours.

Only two signings so far.

At the moment most teams going with two big hitters , Poole have the potential to have four with Lawson, Brennan and the Cook brothers.

Theo looked good practising at Worky a few weeks ago but even Theo would think twice about making a comeback.
Worky are starting on the back foot with not having any championship riders from last year to start off with so have a clean slate more or less to compile a team.
I am sure we will have a competitive team in 24 though.

Which team

Two heat leader maximum I would have thought to be competitive and fit in with the 38 point limit unless going for a youthful weaker bottom end.
Cook and Howarth, Vissing, Castagna, Hook, Sam, Jorgensen.

Very strong side , looks like the two divisions have a definitive difference in team strength.

So why the need to run it from how many years ago is it now .....the train has left a long time ago and it’s empty.

If this meeting takes place the BSPL should be fined.

Let’s look forward not back , that was then this is now, my only misgiving is that the current line up do not have experience on away tracks but if they can make good scores at home after getting some initial home rides then we’ll be fine .
