  1. Probably be raining there too Paulco
  2. Stephan Katt is not in it as he came in to the team to replace Suchanek who was not in the original line up. (see, they do apply the rules sometimes) So yes, Jordan Frampton is in the line up with Simon Walker as reserve.
  3. Top prize has to go to Devon based regional daily paper the Western Morning News. Back page has huge photo of Chris holding the trophy accompanied by THIS ARTICLE which continues on an inside page with an action photo and one of Crumpy pouring champagne down Chris's neck
  4. The snag is CRM, we have a 10 p.m. curfew. If they had delayed the start much longer they couldn't be certain of completing the meeting and that would have been a much bigger disappointment to everyone. You have my sympathy Tigerfeet, but to be fair the situation on Friday afternoon/evening was exceptional. As I have posted on another thread, there were actually 5 separate crashes on the roads in the area from about 4.30 p.m. onwards (and 15 people taken to hospital) STORY HERE We have lived here for 17 years and I cannot remember anything quite so bad before, not even on bank holidays. On a happier note. at least the weather was kind to us. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening, although obviously a little disappointed with Somerset's result. We are used to watching good racing at the OTA but Friday was just fantastic. Congratulations to the Islanders, a well deserved win. Holder was just amazing - what a weekend he's had!

    Chris Harris

Hearty congratulations to Chris. Don't have Sky but someone kindly recorded it for us and have spent this afternoon watching it. Even though we knew the result still couldn't help cheering and yelling for Bomber. Some really great, entertaining, racing. We envy you guys that were there, a night you will probably never forget.
  6. Perish the thought Just to put things into perspective, there were five separate accidents on the roads around the area yesterday evening and 15 people were taken to hospital. The full story HERE
  7. Just over a mile from the track. So far the weather has been as forecasted, overnight rain but now sunny and breezy. (with apologies to Iris123)
  8. Pretty good I would say. Just watched the detailed local forecast and although rain is expected overnight and early tomorrow morning its supposed to clear by mid morning. After that it should be quite a pleasant day although there will be a brisk wind and temperatures not very high, so bring warm clothing.
  9. There is now an announcement on the Super7 website that Craig Watson WILL replace George Stancl. They have justified this as "in the best interests of the fans as it is such short notice" http://www.super7even.com/plpairs.htm
  10. It sometimes takes a while to get approval. It all depends on our illustrious Webmaster who doesn't always get around to doing these things very quickly. I'm sure someone will see Swede's post before long and get in touch with you.
  11. On the Super7 Site , if you look at the PL Pairs page HERE scroll right to the bottom of the page you will see that it clearly states "Final line up will be announced Friday 1st June" Thanks!
  12. BSPA - logical, those two words don't belong in the same sentence do they? No doubt they will justify it somehow.
  13. SCB wrong again! oh dear, oh dear, oh dear
  14. The sun really is shining here at the moment Dave and the weather looks set fair for tonight. Really looking forward to this one.
  15. Just seen the updates. Congratulation to the winner and to Glenn for third place
