It won't be Sky.It's usually the syndicated version that channel four used to broadcast. Certainly the (superb) annual box set contained all the same logos and graphics.
Thanks for all the info - have just ordered it. Need to get a Sky recording now.
-
It's not - hence why many people like me will have both on DVD. The official DVD shows some great insights into the event (will the boxset did) and different camera angles and replays.Oh, cheers. Thanks for that.
Looks like I will be ordering one then!!

Watched it on DVD last night again!Does anyone know if the DVD available by pre-order from Speedwayworld.tv will be the coverage from Sky?
I assume it will be.

Wow, what a fantatstic night down in Cardiff.
Bomber was absolutley awesome. He was the only rider on the track who was able to come from behind like he did and race. No just going past riders but the way he changed his line every lap if necessary to gain on his opponents.
Definatley the rider of the night and thoroughly deserved it.
Don't agree about his atrocious gating. He actually made at least 2 starts and when he didn't, he wasn't that far behind anyway. That's a massive improvement for him!! And don't forget we are talking about very fast gaters in the GP's.
Congratulations Chris.

Anyone know how much the riders get paid for competing in the qualifiers?
-
Whatever the Wolves fans think, David's qualification for the GP will always be tarnished by the fact that it came on his own track. No it won't! And I am not a Wolves fan.

As a premier league supporter i cant join the 'he should have won ,he shouldn't have won, arguements'as most of those are because you thought your own teams rider was better, but just wanted to say what a great night it was for British speedway!!!! The young guns coming through (you know who you are) are looking really promising and i think we will be a strong british team in the next few years.Well done to Bomber on winning the meeting and being No.1 brit, you are a pleasure to watch
David rode well(home track or not)and as his average suggests this season, he is the right man for the job.
Scott not much to say,i'm seeing quite a changed man lately!!!!!!!!
Eddie great little rider and will play a massive part in team GB in the future i am sure.
Well done to all the riders you all played your part and to those who have woke up this morning disappointed just remember you dont get anywhere in life by giving up.So get stuck straight back in with more determination and lets show the rest of the world just what us brits are made of!!!!!!!!!!!
How nice to hear a thoroughly positive comment on here for all riders competing in the British Final. Agree with your sentiments entirely TFI.
Having browsed through the Oxford thread and read the 'the trouble with British Speedway' comments, perhaps it is the downbeat supporters that are the 'problem'
I think British speedway has a good future in front of it - let's get behind these British riders - all of them, instead of going on about the Crumps, Adams and Pedersens of this world - as good as they are!

Some people seem determined to take the shine off David Howe's achievement tonight. This is a guy who struggled so badly last season that people were really getting on his back; even at the start of this season he had his fair share of critics.P.S. Congratulations to Harris for being the new British Champion, and to Kennett, King and Allen who all impressed me.
I think it is mainly one person, ezekiel!!

Thats a poor point when you consider how crap the Poole track was last week..........and Crump couldn't come from behind either. Mind you, he didn't do very well in the GP, either!!!
-
Did the Telford meeting go ahead or was it rained off?!!
Didn't see any results anywhere.
