Who Was The Tallest Ever Rider

IF you bother to look at the 'smilies' i put after my comment was a little tongue in cheek as I actually new him as a mate as well as a rider. So you and kentboy read the reply properly and keep your opinions of me to yourself. Jeeeeez some people need to lighten up.

  7. It never ceases to amaze me that no matter what the topic some threads are contstantly hi-jacked by the one off v gp's debaters. Soooooooooooo .............................. I personally dont like the GP's. No matter how much they are dressed and glam'd up by whoever I just cant get excited about the gp's and some of these 'down one minute gone the next' tracks. And on top of this in recent years one of the few meetings I used to look forward to was the British Final is nothing but a glorified open meeting and has lost its meaning. im not saying the 'old ways' were the best far from it but prior to them ending I thought the powers that be were getting it right. Brit,overseas,inter-continental, 2 semi's and the final seems an excellent format to me. Just my personal ramblings - Ok its over to you lot. P.s. please refrain from telling me this topic has been done before as im not bothered - well worth another debate.

    Stirling Speedway

A friend of mine who thinks he is an authority on everything thinks that some form of speedway was once available to be seen in stirling scotland. Maybe only on open liscence level or training track level but according to him either stags or stars were the names considered for the venture. Any of you knowledgable people know of any such venture?
