Betsafe have shortened their odds up in all their matches Tonight they go BV 1.85 (-10.5) IPS 1.74 Corals go with +10 Witches @ 1.91 each KL 1.68 (-6.5) WOL 1.94These are terrible odds and only a fool would take these odds

in the practice laps Kevin Tatum says the riders are taking this very seriously. Is that why 6 riders are not there. I wonder if this will be the end of this idea being televised -
Belle Vue v Ipswich 03/06/19
mickthemuppet replied to Gavan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I Would think that Ipswich will be around plus 12 with the bookmakers .Anything above that makes the Witches a fair bet -
Betting on Betsafe they go Wolverhampton -10 @ 1.75 and Belle Vue 1.85 What terrible odds My only bet tonight will be the Russian Girl to beat the half fit Serena Williams @ 6/1 at RG
-
I thought that Wolverhampton Would be +6 tonight against Ipswich so looks like +10 for the Wolves looks gather generous @ 4/5 with Bet 365 Kings Lynn are +2 with Bet 365 yet Betsafe go + 2.5 for Poole Quite a nice arb Belle Vue are -12 Against Swindon with Ladbrokes or Bet 365 @10/11.As Jason Doyle might not be fully fit and Tobiasz Muslelak out injured . the Aces should be the bet here Good luck to all

Warsaw 2019
mickthemuppet replied to teaboy279's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
There has to be something wrong with a scoring system when Leon Madsen or anybody else can win a GP when he only won one race all night. The old individual world championship scoring system was far superior as it was a true test .Under the old 20 heat scoring Patrick Dudek would have been the winner and Leon Madsen only 8th -

Peterborough Panthers 2019
mickthemuppet replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Very surprised that champions in waiting Ipswich have caused so much unrest among the Panthers supporters -
would have thought Ipswich would be +4 for tonight's match against Peterborough tonight so no bet for me but I think Ipswich wll win. Available on Betsafe on scratch @ 2.11 My account has now been suspended by Skybet until I verify who I am with Photo, Birth date and address Great I have only been with them since the turn of the century . In future I think I might give them more losing bets So now I am banned completely from Bet Fred, Skybet, and Bet Victor

With the announcement that GVC are to take over Ladbrokes and Corals there be hardly any betting on Speedway in the future. GVC already own Sportingbet and BetWin . It will not be helped that League speedway might not be on TV and if it is there will be very few meetings. That will leave William Hill (also under pressure to a take over ) Betsafe, Betfair and Skybet. Of these four only Betsafe and Skybet will lay on a non TV meeting

Is 8.5 start enough start for Ipswich at Poole tonight Surely Chris Harris will not score over 9 I would think that Tai Woffinden is a great bet to be World Champion @ 9/4 again with at the moment Greg Hancock, Maciej Janowski and Jason Doyle not taking part at the start of the season
-
looks like the bet of the season so far Interesting to see tonight's match Swindon v Ipswich and H2H on Bet 365 go D Lampart +4 @ 8/11 against K Piezczek -4 @ 6/4 Betsafe go D Lampart scratch 1.72 and K Piezczek Scratch 1.96 Quite a good example of abritage Cannot find any other bookmakers betting on tonight's speedway other than these two

Tai Woffinden at his majestic best Sunday April 14th
mickthemuppet replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The world championship today is a closed shop and only so many riders can take part in it Possibly about 40. Going back to the early 1950's it was open to all riders which is not the case today.I remember one year there was 243 entries and that was in the UK alone. Under today's system a rider like Jack Young who was a 2nd division rider became world champion and under today's system would not be allowed entry It.s a shame that the GP riders today are being paid a pittance for the skills and any profits earnt from the GP's does not come back to the grass roots of Speedway. I wonder who sold Speedway down the drain -
Hans Anderson +2 over Scott Nicholls at Evens

Ipswich V Kings Lynn Thursday April 4th 7.30pm
mickthemuppet replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
What a silly comment Don't go horse racing on the flat then . with 6 races it will seem like 15 minutes is a marathon -
I wonder which today are the stadiums which have the biggest capacity. I would think Ipswich would be the biggest and perhaps the only one that could take over 10,000 punters.
