Leicester vs Birmingham 25/06/2022 CL
Gambo replied to iainb's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
There is also the added 'bonus' that there are regular practice sessions/facilities at Leicester. -
Due to take place at Poole on July 2nd, deferred to a later (unspecified) date due to potential Rider unavailability!

I believe the land was bought for less than 3 Million. Hardly a development price, and I'm also led to believe that the site was never actually put on the open market! They have been offered a substantial profit by those interested in bringing Stock Car & Speedway back to the stadium, but as yet have not even acknowledged the offer.

If the reserves score enough points they would be in the S/F. -
Pawlicki (#12) a non starter. Grobauer to replace him in all heats, therefore just 1 reserve (#18)

European Grass track final Swingfield October 16th
Gambo replied to racers and royals's topic in Grasstrack, Sidecar, Short Track and Cycle Speedway
I'm led to believe that the Leamington Final has now been rescheduled to October (not sure of the exact date) and moved to a different venue (Swingfield?) -
I know it's a Pairs event, but why not involve the RS's a bit more and give them 3 races of their own that add to the team score? AvBvCvD. EvFvAvD. EvFvBvC. Even if their scores were not added to the Team total, you could have Team RS Champion if you added the 6 events together.

That IS the correct line up for Peterborough. Whether that is by design, or fate, is not known.

I presume the long delay is for track work? -
Do you really think that new land hasn't been sought? A new site would have solved virtually all of Brandon Estates problems.

Leicester Lions v Redcar Bears 30/4/22
Gambo replied to justathought's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Ianb is super critical about almost everything! If Ianb says there was plenty of passing then you'd better believe it. And he is correct this time! -

Just curious, but which tracks do you mean you will be attending? i.e. which tracks always have two ambulances and two paramedics?
-
leicester lions already lost it ?
Gambo replied to davieb1's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
AFAIK Sam marked the track layout with pegs, but the pegs were moved to suit another's design (similar ratio to a Cycle speedway track) without Sam's knowledge prior to the laying of the circuit. -
I believe a part of the 6 hour problem was that, as Josh was deemed to be under the care of a Paramedic, he was lower priority than someone who has chest pains etc. at home.

Or.. Keep the current format and allow the Team Manager a bit of tactical options, replacing the 'missing' rider.
