This gives G.B. speedway no credibility & shows what a bunch of incompetent "persons" we have running our sport. With many riders riding for 2 different teams that is so negative P.R. as it is - But 3 different leagues, totally bonkers.
I disagree about the negative PR bit. Although Dan (and others) are named as #8 for PL sides, they are not guaranteed any outings!
So Dan (and others) are predominately going to be CL & NDL riders with the occasional PL outing.
Are you saying that Dan (and others) should miss out on potentially 10+ confidence boosting NDL meetings in favour of a few (if any) PL meetings?

According to the new website, Cardiff GP has a 7pm racing start.
No details of times etc. for the U21 GP2 on the Sunday

I would think that some refurbishment of the Grandstand would be necessary for the Referee/Greyhound Starters room to be operative.

Agreed, but I was unsure which was which on the track, Max James or Max Perry!

Or even all 4 Leagues? PL No. 8 & PJL, CL 2nd String, NDL Heat Leader?

Thompson twins looked well at home and I must add that Anders Rowe really attacked the track, despite his lesser experience at Leicester and the damp conditions.
Track held up well and there were around 20 or so, with ages ranging from 4 - 50+ there for a skid.

Still on his assessed 5 points as he did not do enough meetings. (5H 3A)
He actually achieved the assessed average over those 8 meetings.

7 minutes ago, Jaizer said:By your own reckoning he's done 3 qualifying away meetings as KO cup and play offs don't count. If same rules are applied as 2011 for us and bellego
Depends who's asking, I suppose!

Thank You. I can now finish the Green Sheets for Wolves 2022.
And the No. 8 is.........?

I don't know the full 1-7, please enlighten me.

Showing my age, I know, but I seem to recall a young Sean Wilson being on TV, (Blue Peter?) and being suggested as a future Champion.

Danyon's Green Sheet average is 5.01 (-2.5%=4.88 is for team building only)

Do any of the reserves points place them in the overall championship standings? Or are they just for the single meeting?
All points count in the Championship Standings, and all riders are listed according to their points score, with any ties being decided by their GP Ranking earned/allocate at the start of the season.

1 hour ago, Humphrey Appleby said:The answer is probably nearly a hundred. I've probably even missed a few tracks from this list (permanent tracks only), but it gives an indication of how many venues have staged speedway in the British Isles (at least 111 by my count).
Some were of course very short lived or only raced a handful of open meetings, whilst other tracks were effectively replaced by another track. However, there are still quite a few on the list that staged regular racing for many years that are no longer with us...

I'd like to think footballers or any highly paid person wud sponsor speedway but it's a fair bet they are bombarded all the time from all sorts of organisations for sponsorship etc.
Still, if you don't ask you don't get
Coventry did, with John Jorgensen (for one) riding around the outside of the pitch.
Not sure if that was at Highfield Road or the (then) Ricoh.

On the e-mailed Press Release it says it, but admittedly not on the website.

See the Leicester Press Release. Why would they be working to a 42 point limit if it has not been 'agreed'?
