  1. This is very impressive so far , after last night I was fearing a mighty tussle but its a walk in the park , 3 points beckons , the performance gives me further belief we will make Top 4 , I don't think Poole or Coventry will particularly fancy coming to the Abbey if we keep this up ,although it has to be said Swindons reserves are going to be our troublesome spot , I'm so glad Nick Morris is riding like he was in the early months , he will be a big rider in the future , I think we can get minimum a point tomorrow
  2. After last nights entertaining meeting , spoilt by the ref maybe in Heat 12 , there's no way Sergeant moved , Coventry could have been closer at that point but for Chris Harris and his bucking bronco of a bike. , but its history now , Kings Lynn represent the toughest challenge tonight , with a team that includes Iversen,Lindgren,Bjerre and some decent second string they appear as strong as any side could be at the Abbey , if we can get thro tonite I think it might be a springboard , two riders we need to be on form is Nick Morris and our one competitive reserve Charles Wright , heat 2 & 12 will be crucial , big night tonight we need a win so hopefully Ward can lead us to a crucial victory
  3. I can imagine Swindon will get the blame for that , we appear to be accused ,blamed for lots of other stuff according to some sad buggers
  4. well I'm glad u have cleared that up then , because of how well Morris has performed this year we are well within our rights to call upon a reserve of equal average to replace him , no skullduggery involved , is this the case as Swindon are being dragged thro the proverbial as to cheating yet again ,
  5. Are you for real , so we got Harris this time ,we've had Hans and he's been shocking , so Morris ain't riding ,do u not know how well Morris was riding for Swindon , he's been superb so why shouldn't we have a rider who's scores reflect the same average , its not as tho we've brought in Harris for a reserve , Morris was riding at No 1 before Ward came along
  6. I'm a Robins fan and I'm very happy that we have a rider like Harris , I was also happy when we've had Han Anderson for Nick , but Hans was very disappointing in the two or three matches we had , at the end of the day Swindon when Morris was riding was our No 1 , he was riding that well , maybe not at Wolverhampton, but he was going out in Heat 13 & 15 and beating opposing highly rated riders , he earnt his average he wasn't given it , so OK I can't see what all this cobblers is all about , up to his injury he was arguably our best rider , could we have had R/R tonite I don't know , Harris was naff on Saturday , he might be another Hans Anderson for us but I hope he scores loads
  7. Both the Aces and Robins will be top 4 I reckon ,Stars are beginning to show a few nerves and obviously the unfortunate Lewis situation will not help , fingers crossed for him and all his close family , maybe the Stars will use it as a motivation , hope we hear some positive news soon
  8. I still think the Stars will be dragged back into the mix , its two from three rather than The Aces or Robins , lots of fixtures against one another
  9. Yeah ,Belle Vue to win easily and destroy Wolves confidence just a little bit more ready for Swindon visit on Monday , either way I hope all riders around the country tonite have a safe evening , best of luck to both teams ,whatever I say won't change the result , if Wolves ride well they are capable due to track similarities but the Aces will be very focused Is Josh riding this evening , if so I hope and expect the crowd will be very supportive to him , brave boys this lot but it take plenty of guts I imagine to show your competitiveness after Sunday , good luck to Josh
  10. I predict a massive improvement in Holder and Watt tonight , if only the lottery was that easy to predict ,
  11. If Poole have a top 3 of Ward,Holder & Majic next year the rest of us may as well drop into Premier League , there's not enough interest from GP riders to ride here to be any competition in other teams , so if there is some manipulation of rules it will be the whole Elite league that suffers , Sky will drop it at some point , Hans Anderson and Chris Holder seem both to be riding badly tho I hope they ain't doing anything silly . For me having Darcy in our team has been fantastic , like the days of Leigh Adams , when we were always good , I can understand Poole's fans wanting all three back together but it would be such a boring league it could be the last straw for a lot of other fans from other clubs , Swindon may as well drop down , as I don't like saying it but Bachelor/Kildemand and whoever will not be good enough , I hope we can somehow convince Ward to stay but I doubt it
  12. That's very harsh , what a team manager , we beat you his actions payed off , your choppsy announcer was reprimanded , if that was Havelock his toys and dummy would be all over the track , he's the whinger Steve
  13. I'm hoping it's your normal team effort of late and we beat u again , the way Belle Vue rode last night we need to match them , the other concern I have is Swindon have had a long break between matches and might catch us out , yes league table does not lie they have both been better than the Robins but we are in better shape than we were and the gap is closing , I do think it's two from three for the playoffs , The Stars are creaking at the moment , I do appreciate tho that the circumstances of Lewis is very difficult at the moment , fingers crossed for him and his family & friends
  14. . Your falling apart double D , Swindon are the last thing u should worry about , SteveBrum will be very amusing at Poole's expense , Belle Vue will be strong challengers too ,
