shazzybird 10 Posted July 18, 2004 Chris Tritton rode at No 6 (I think) early 80's - had a successful grasstrack career until a bad injury in 1997. Still involved in grasstrack though, works as a Youth Coach for the ACU U21 squad. Is he still working at Arter Bros?
KevH 257 Posted July 18, 2004 Just put London Road down as one of my favourite tracks. I must admit I only went a couple of times but I saw two superb meetings - v Newcastle & Mildenhall in 1983 - and should have gone more often. The Newcastle meetings at Crayford were always classics - Tom and Joe Owen were a joy to watch around there - not many riders could master the track, but these two along with Alan Sage, Laurie Etheridge and Barney Kennett certainly managed it.
