Tigerblade 221 Posted December 15, 2004 Looking at past tables I saw Bradford run the league in 1997 and then folded. Why? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Lack of support vs high running costs. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wasn't it also because Odsal was going to be refurbished into a "super stadium" and it was either delayed/put off for years and the Ham brothers subsequently lost interest. bowes 0 Posted December 15, 2004 If it was at Odsal I wouldn't be surprised if the Bulls making it big in Super League was a contribution
fireblade 0 Posted December 15, 2004 they were forced out of Odsal and doubt they ever will return. Shame Alan Ham was one of the best promoters I have come across. Bulls do not want them at Odsal and in future years the track will disappear as they move the stands closer to the pitch.

fireblade 0 Posted December 18, 2004 You'll hate another one before long as well. Another track could be under threat from Rugby.
Matousek 0 Posted December 18, 2004 Rugby is crap! Bring bradford speedway back (and long eaton)!
Robyn1972 0 Posted December 19, 2004 I assume the proposed "superdome" development never came to anything? Such a shame - a track I never got too which I would have loved to have done.
