Addy 1 Posted April 10, 2005 We geminis (Jo , Bryn & Gem) tend not to be chronologically challenged Age is just a measurement of time - and not a personal attribute. It's the person that matters imo
KevH 257 Posted April 10, 2005 So how old are you Addy?
KevH 257 Posted April 10, 2005 I take it you are of a certain age then. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well yes, but I've always liked you anyway.
Joanne 0 Posted April 10, 2005 Tony McDonald, was he a rider anytime? Addy, I am chronologically challenged (whatever that means ). I am quite happy to say I was born when England won the World Cup. After next year I won't be chronologically challenged. By the way Addy, who was No1 in the charts when you were born ?
Addy 1 Posted April 10, 2005 My dislike of agism comes from when I worked in the NHS and I saw, and still see, people being diagnosed and treated on the basis of their age. This includes those who are considered too young to have an illness. I know of a few cancers being missed because the person wasn't in the right age group for that type of cancer. Hopefully this will be eradicated when the Age Discrimination Act comes in next year.
TonyMac 720 Posted April 10, 2005 Thanks Bryn and all... I've just got my breath back from blowing out the candles. Still, I only feel 44! Joanne. Me, a former rider? I did once ride pillion on Barry Thomas' bike at Iwade circa 1973!
KevH 257 Posted April 10, 2005 By the way Addy, who was No1 in the charts when you were born ? You didn't answer the question Addy, are you practising to be a politician?
