FenTiger76 0 Posted October 27, 2005 (edited) I wonder how many times he has heard that!I received my copy of the new Speedway History Magazine this morning and was impressed. The paper, text and picture (colour and bw) quality are a vast improvement on The Speedway Years, Totally agree Moxey63 which I presume, will be revamped now a different printer has come on board. The Speedway History Magazine also has some fine contributions from the likes of Dick Barrie (remember him?), Cyril Hart and Glynn Shailes included. My honest opinion is that it is one of Speed-away Promotions finest offerings - and I practically have them all - and is a necessity for those, like me, who will always dig a little deeper in the pocket for a slice of nostalgia. FenTiger76, I would re-subscribe if I were you. Won't be subscribing though, 20 pages with plenty of little note (Speedway programme covers as stamps!! & usual load of adverts) for £3.50 is a little steep imo. It seems too many items of little information. For example the collectors corner is an excellent idea but skirts over the subject rather than concentrate on one area per issue, this is a shame as ever since the excellent Speedway Collectors Club Magazine stopped the sport has been in need of a magazine covering the area of collecting. Still feel his only really quality product was the History of Speedway Programmes book, which although £25.00 was a fine book. Sadly the updates only lasted one year, before they were dropped <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Edited October 27, 2005 by FenTiger76
