Britsh U15 Championship - Redcar Sat 16/9
FenTiger76 posted a topic in Youth Speedway and Development Leagues
Have seen on a couple of forums that the Redcar round of the U15 Championship is on Saturday 16th September following the Conference Shield meeting between Cleveland 'Bays' & Sittingbourne 'Crusaders'. Can anyone confirm the accuracy of this please? -
Thanks for that, really useful, isn't Coventry Monday 28th though?

David Nix Memorial Meeting (29-09-06)

Are there any more details of the line up for this worthy meeting please? -
Although a 'punk' in my early years, I have to agree Andy M that the music has not dated well, and was in many cases no more than 'Pub' rock. It certainly was more about expression and quickly became a cultural movement. However it did rid us of ELP, Yes and the likes, but more importantly showed the youth of the time that being in a band was not elitist, but something anyone could do if they chose. Of course many of the more noted bands of the movement, The Jam and The Clash for example, were never really 'punk' bands in the true sense and their music is imo a testament to the fact that there was some great music coming out of that era.

Individual Meeting At Kl This Wednesday

Good idea, but any chance you can film from the straights rather than the first/second bend. Meetings filmed from the bends never seem as good to watch, just my opinion Mike -

After his performance last night at Scunthorpe for the Mildenhall Academy, Im sure Ben Hopwood will be pleased to see one of the U15 rounds is being held there -

Yes they did SimonB, and the meeting did drag on a bit, although there were some excellent races, with both Danny and Jason doing themselves credit. Overall a good night, although James Brundle will be a little dissapointed with his score. Danny was very lucky though to get a second chance in the final, clearing clipping Boxall at the first bend after missing the gate. But you need a little luck in these events and Kingy certainly got it Ben Wilson was certainly a deseving winner imo and Bridger great entertainment missing the gate most races the executing some well timed passes, he does look the business. Some of the CL riders aquited themselves well Dennis, Auty .... Crowd wasn't great, but then a BRITISH U21 Final would hardly be much interest to Kings Whinge supporters would it Good to see young Ben Hopwood get a ride, if he hadn't fell in his race he'd have beaten Kennett , full credit to him though for jumping up and getting on with the race Have to agree with all thats been said about Kennett, a move away to a bigger track seems to be a must if he's to progress much further, didn't seem to want to leave the white line much again. Hey Bryn it would have been more than feet hurting if 'Madam' had caught up with you -
Like the majority on here I really enjoy the magazine and EX-Retro for that matter (how good was sunday!). However I would like to see you keep away from to many excerts from recently published books.
