We're going to Rybnik - we have book BA to Krakow the day before, staying in a hotel by the airport and hiring a car for the world cup.

But you could go Ryanair to Katowice which is also near to Rybnik.

Then all you need to do is get a flight from Krakow/Katowice to Stockholm.

Just had a quick look on LOT for you - and you can fly direct from Krakow to Stockholm Arlanda. hmmm...is tempting to do ourselves!

Shouldn't one of those Katowices be Krakow?

As an alternative try Wizz Air. Depart Katowice Mon, 17 Jul @ 20:35 Arrive Stockholm - Skavsta @ 22:15. A 45 minute drive will get you to the delightful town of Lynkoping, and after an overnight stay it's a gentle 2 hour drive to Malilla.

On the other hand those that like to travel by road take the 600 km road trip from Rybnik to Gdynia, and then jump aboard the night Stenna ferry from Gdynia to Karlskrona. A tranquil sea crossing entirely stress free!!! From Karlskrona it's just 200km to Malilla.

Alternatively park your sofa in front of telly, order a few beers and a pizza and watch it from there!!!

The choices are endless :D:D

A-HA! Thanks everyone. We're Ryanair to Krakow, Wizzair to Stockholm (flights £0.00!) and then Raynair back again after car hire. What with the rest of the week I am going to need some serious brownie points with the missus, but it'll be bloody marvelous!
