Highly unlikely. And anyway, BSI won't want to lose Gollob, or Hampel, but maybe domestic considerations will mean they want Kolodziej in there. What are they to do? salty 2,202 Posted August 19, 2006 Swop Gollob for PK and I think you may have the 15 for next year. There might still be some shocks about who qualifies in the top 8 though.

NJT 4 Posted August 19, 2006 Hans cannot qualify for the top 8 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This has to be a crazy rule, what is the point in him riding in the meetings if they count for nothing.
Reviresco 708 Posted August 19, 2006 (edited) How about this for the GP line up next year No Gollob then......? The series wouldn't be the same without the old boy - and I can still see him getting a top 8 this year. "This has to be a crazy rule, what is the point in him riding in the meetings if they count for nothing." Money? Sponsorship? Being nominated? Proving a point? I guess.... Guest schumifan Posted August 19, 2006 This has to be a crazy rule, what is the point in him riding in the meetings if they count for nothing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Does it matter now he's qualified?
NJT 4 Posted August 19, 2006 Does it matter now he's qualified? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It makes a big difference to PK and Bomber and the allocation of wildcards so I would say it matters in a big way.
Reviresco 708 Posted August 19, 2006 As I have just said on the other thread. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, and you also said: 'No F1 team that I can think of has ever had two drivers of the same Nationality' and we've already proved that that was wrong...... Hollyy13 0 Posted August 19, 2006 i wondered if it could count for Hans now? beacuse hes officially replaced Tony R, so why shouldnt his points count? I understand when he was just the wild card that they couldnt count..... but now isnt he officially a GP rider? And he qualified anyway...!
Guest schumifan Posted August 19, 2006 It makes a big difference to PK and Bomber and the allocation of wildcards so I would say it matters in a big way. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well really only PK, and it's nice to see some new blood in the way of Jagus. That's the way the cookie crumbles. It wasn't fair when Hans was left out last year...
J_D 10 Posted August 19, 2006 With Jagus qualifying Janusz can kiss the GP series goodbye for another year. I would not be surprised to see Loram picked as GBs 2nd wild card rider.
T.N.T. 355 Posted August 20, 2006 Swop Gollob for PK and I think you may have the 15 for next year. There might still be some shocks about who qualifies in the top 8 though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jason Crump Leigh Adams Scott Nicholls Nicki Pedersen Bjarne Pedersen Hans Andersen Tomasz Gollob Jaroslaw Hampel Wieslaw Jagus Rune Holta Andreas Jonsson Antonio Lindback Greg Hancock Matej Zagar wild card the last place goes to . . . . . . Chris Harris or Simon Stead or Peter Karlsson
Col 854 Posted August 20, 2006 (edited) With the Bydgoszcz GP still to come, you don't think Tomasz Gollob, already in the top 8, will stay there? Highly unlikely. And anyway, BSI won't want to lose Gollob, or Hampel, but maybe domestic considerations will mean they want Kolodziej in there. What are they to do? Lets hope not, the one track Pony that's useless everywhere else's presence is mostly pointless. Jagus will last a year in the GP's Chrzanowski II. I bet after a month they wish thay hadn''t held a final so PK would be in rather than him. Lindback I can't see keeping his place and if he has the right mentaility he'll do an Andersen. Richardson, Iversen & Pepe are toast already. Out with Gollob, also, pointless these days outside Poland. Zagar should stay. I'm guessing PK might get one spot in the GP's, as I cant think of more than Jonsson in the Swedish dept. And Lindback's been woeful, pretty much. If BSI go for a second Brit then Harris, did more than Stead at the SWC, didn't choke at Cardiff. Even though I think Stead's the better rider.
