KevH 257 Posted November 20, 2007 Has anyone got any details of Les, who rode for Halifax and Long Eaton in 1967 please? His birth date and place would be great, or any other facts or memories about the guy would be most welcome.

Not 100 per cent sure. http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/oldtimespeedway

Over the years you've gathered quite a bit of information, just wondered if you'd put it all together somewhere

It's simply for my personal records Shazzy, it's saves time hunting through dozens of books and magazines for the information, but the downside is you then realise just how much information you haven't got............hence this post, and others like it. KiwiChiwi 0 Posted January 15, 2022 Hi Kev. I came across this feed as I was looking up Les' name from an experience I was reading. I'm a Jehovah's Witness you see and was reading through life stories and Les evidently chose to give up speedway racing to become a Jehovah's Witness. So I hope this link answers any questions you might have - https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/101986406#h=1:0-35:
