World Cup Squads

Thanks SS. Sweden have got a worse team than us surely PK and Lindback should be in the side ahead of Ljung and Davidson even though Jonas has been riding well for us this season.

Shields should be in the team ahead of Sullivan. Poland and Denmark look nailed on for the top 2 spots IMHO.

VV, PK has rejected the offer to ride in the SWC.

What will GB's team be, bearing in mind that Chris, Scott & Ollie might still be injured.

Bomber and Olly are hoping to ride tonight, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Not sure about Scotty, though.

Looking for sponsors, if anyone's interested.

Anyway, looking at that Polish team I'm just not so sure. Rune Holta's form at the minute is fairly dreadful. He was recently dropped by Elit Vetlanda in Sweden and he only scored 3 points in the Ekstraliga meeting at Leszno yesterday. And Krzysztof Kasprzak's form this season really hasn't been good at all. They'll have to be on top of their game if they want to get straight through to the final, as Australia are very strong.

You can't have Rider Replacement in the SWC, youngster.

Anyway, I'm obviously the Holta in the team - a Mongol in the Great Britain team.

Yes I know you can`t have r/r in the SWC,I was just being a little cynical, and wondering if anybody was going to rename me

As for your second point, there`s no reply that could better your post

What is the format this year? I would like to prepare a programme for Saturdays Sky meeting, but the declared teams have only 5 riders. Last year we had reserves named if my memory is correct, at least that's what I have in my PC still.

Have they gone back to the old format?

Does anyone know the current format?

Last year heat one was the four number ones, and heat two the four number twos etc up to heat five. Is that the format for 2008.
