I`m just back at our hotel, have had some warm drinks. The cold temperatures are a little bit unfamiliar....

Tomorrow the competition at Strömsund starts 3.00 p.m., I think it might be 2.00 p.m. british time? Think Conkers or Iris123 could tell you the right british time.....

Franz Zorn was riding very well but has had an engine failure at Heat 18, don`t know exactly what went wrong at his bike, but I think tomorrow we`ll have a little bit more time talking to the rider, because today most of them are very busy with their bikes before and after the competition.

Tomorrow we`ll also making an Live-Update at www.speedway-forum.de, hope you enjoy it.

You've got to think that Austria will be the main challengers against the Russians when they get to Inzell for the Team final.

Wolfslayer - sent you a PM if you can contact me re the Photos.

Today it was a fantastic organized competition at Strömsund, the whole club was working very hard to organize the Santa Cup. Perfect looking stadium, normally it is an iceskating area but in the future they will organize more iceracing competition and I definitely think in a couple of years - maybe 2010 or 2011 they`ll organize WM-Qualificationround.

Tomorrow we`ll have a short break. Next competition is on monday 29th december at Bollnäs, 7.00 p.m. first start (I think 6.00 p.m. british time???).

Have a nice evening.

Sweden is one hour ahead of the UK.

I suppose too many beers are out of the question with the price of ale in Sweden?

I make it there should be a run-off for the reserve spot. Not sure what will happen as the Russian forum has Zelepukhin on 9(but with the same totals as me!).Looking on russpeedway.ru it seems Gavrilkhin got 7 not 6 yesterday and 4 not 3 today. So goes through

And Ufa

2.Dmitriy Bulankin (Ufa) 13+(3,3,2,3,ex)11=24

--------------------------------------------------------

9.Dmitriy Karpukhin (Saransk) 6+(2,2,1,0,3)8=14

--------------------------------------------------------

10.Sergey Karachintsev (Togliatti) 6+(1,1,2,1,2)7=13

11.Nikita Alekseyev (Ufa) 5+(0,3,1,1,2)7=12

12.Sergey Kazakov (Sterlitamak) 5+(1,1,0,0,1)3=8

13.Nikolai Ryabokon (Ufa) 3+(ex,2,1,20)5=8

14.Nikita Parfenov (Sterlitamak) 3+(0,0,0,0,0)0=3

15.Anton Sozykin (Ufa) 1+(0,0,0,1,1)2=3

16.Andrey Shishegov (Ufa) 1+(1,0)1=2

17. Ilya Ruzanov 0+(1)1=1

18. Anton Kovrizhin (Ufa) (DNS)(0,0,)0=0

dead heat between Arkhipov and Krysov.Bulankin excluded for bringing down Baltachev. So no team tactics in that one.Dmitri i guess going for the win against Ivan Ivanov who was also in the heat.Still good to see him back up there in the mix
