2009 POULTEC PRIDE OF THE EAST - WED 24th SEPT 7:30pm

 

LINE UP UPDATED 18/9/08

 

41st season for this presigious individual meeting with the line up being a mix of youth and track specialists. Hard to pick a winner from an evenly matched line up which will surely produce one of the best individual meetings seen anywhere in the world this season.

 

20 qualifying heats with a 4 man Grand Final, pre and post meeting firework display, GP start girls

Admission: Adults £15, Student/Senior/Disabled £12, 12-15yr olds £5, Kids 11 yrs and under FREE

That is a good looking line up. The only rider I would have liked to have seen in that list is Ulrich Ostergaard.

Sorry but I dont think any of us are going to see Nermark(see link below), lets just hope they can get a good replacement.

Excellent lineup, really looking forward to this one.

 

Such a shame about Dan's injury. As Screamer mentioned, Ulrich Ostergaard would be my choice of replacement as he's been an excellent visitor at the NA this season though I guess Jan Graversen will now move into the lineup as he's been named as the reserve?

 

Good to see riders from all the local teams involved as well, hopefully will draw some Witches, Panthers and Rockets fans along to support their boys.

 

Also looking forward to seeing how Darcy Ward fares in this kind of company. Will be very tough for him but I just get the feeling he won't be phased in the slightest.

So that's Dan and John out and Jan Graversen can't be reserve now. Could the defending champion be persuaded to come and/or perhaps Adrian Rymel?

Not necessarily J-Lo out now according to a post in the PL section.

 

Really looking forward to this and hope it's well attended.

I think the defending champion will probably be riding at his home club, Trees :D
