Krzysztof Kasprzak latest name to be added to list

 

Never thought of Kasprsak being invited. Be interesting to see him and Bjarne racing, as at Poole they seemed to race each at 1 & 2 and eventually had to be moved around so as not to race together.

Being a Pole as well allows us to tap into the Polish community who live on Tyneside. An unexpected signing which could also do us good in the longer term, good move.

 

Haven't heard who the other 2 signings are yet but the meeting is certainly going to be a highlight of our year.

Would love to see Freddie Lindgren at Brough. Flying at the moment and should ride the track well, given the similarity to Monmore.

Things will pick up believe me. Anyway in the meanwhile we have this fantastic meeting to celebrate our 80 years Anniversary.

I'm hoping that the last 2 to be named will be released tonight at the home meeting against Scunny. It makes sense if they have been signed up.

I see in last nights programme that old boy Will Lawson is in the field for next Sundays 80th Anniversary meeting at Brough starting at 5.30pm. Unfortuntely Glasgow are riding against Edinburgh and Redcar are at Newport otherwise it would have been great to have riders such as Parks, Grieves, Proctor and Fisher. Only 2 more riders names to be released and we have the full field.

And as a footnote i would not rule out either of the aforementioned 2 walking away with the cash but they will have to get past Bjarne or JayKay 1st

Well the field is assembled and the adverts are rolling out on the local radio.

Lets hope alot of old fans / new fans and fans from other tracks come along and hopefully witness some cracking racing from some of the sports elite.

Unfortunately both Kenneth Bjerre and Krzysztof Kasprzsak have had to withdraw - due to their Polish League clubs' re-arrangement of fixtures that had been rained off earlier in the season.

 

Travis McGowan comes into the field to replace one of them - with the other replacement announced shortly.
