Next Winter Meeting

With the December meeting at Scunny and the traditional early Jan. one at Newport done and dusted (well not much dust, I guess! ) - can we be cheered up from this deep, deep winter with news of another winter meeting..?

Is there going to be the one 'allowed'; in Feburary..?

I'd heard a whisper maybe that King's Lynn had put in to stage one in that month..?

Is that right? And, if so, is there a date yet?

I believe there is a discussion about this proposed February meeting at Lynn

in the PL section, under the KL thread Parsloes.

Seems to be the same questions being raised...will it or won't it be staged.

 

Edited to add: Just been to the aforementioned Kings Lynn thread to find that

Jonathan Chapman has confirmed on there... NO February meeting will be held.

If there is another winter meeting then I think they should hold it at Poole because they do the all time best winter meetings (even better than if Carlsberg did winter speedway meetings )

I think it would take a brave Promoter to run a meeting this winter looking at the weather forecasts for the next 5 to 6 weeks.
