Recommended Posts

Can be found on this link.... http://footballgroundguide.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=13962&st=0

I hope it brings back memories for some like it did for me.

Excellent site that, boywonder. Great to see Hamilton Accies old Douglas Park ground, where MJFC spent a good bit of his 1970s childhood :approve:

Also a few other old speedway venues at Somerton Park, Shawfield, Cliftonhill and St Mirren Park :D

A great site, a bit weird seeing Shielfield with just a wall and no fence on the home straight though!

Also good to see an old film of Brockville, Falkirk's old ground, i miss that place. Its a Morrisons now and its still called Brockville Park with great old pictures of the teams and players in the windows by the tills etc...thanks for the link B)

Facinating stuff, great to see old stadia either long gone or closed to speedway: Coatbridge, Newport, Paisley, Stamford Bridge, etc....
