Conkers 67 Posted December 17, 2010 More bad news, the first round of the CZ championship this weekend has been called off . I understand that the track in Rozena has been called up through too much snow - The weight of it went through the Ice on the lake they were planning to use. They don't really have much luck with that track do they
Conkers 67 Posted December 17, 2010 It helps a lot and many thanks in advance for any meetings available that you unearth. Why do i need to download Google Chrome to view the russian forums? I can view it presently with Internet Explorer 8 and, as with the polish site sportowefakty's speedway section, have it bookmarked to come up in already translated to english mode. I'm sure the ice racing stadium closing down was a Speedway Star article. However, it obviously hasn't come to pass thankfully. Some of the translation sites I've found are ok, but I've found Google Chrome will automatically translate the sites for you into a more readable english. Plus, If you follow the links to the newspaper websites they "stay" in english too. You can also set it to automatically translate from certain languages so you don't have to fiddle with them. For me, It's a lot easier for getting results from the various forums and Russian papers.

But you are aware that if in Internet Explorer* one saves a Google translated website page as a bookmark it will always go from new page to new page continuing translating. *(which i use 99% of the time - please don't anyone get into browser wars lol). 'Google Chrome' is a browser. Are you saying that it treats 'Google Search' in a superior way to when using Google Search in any other browser such as Internet Explorer?. Conkers 67 Posted December 18, 2010 Sorry Conkers i'm not labouring a point i just don't want to miss out on something. As a browser, Chrome is quite good as it not only translates the pages automatically but allows you to register on these websites as some of the Russian Forums lock videos/photos to registered users only. It works for me, as I have to extract the info to compile the reports etc. I can't use IE 8 as I have a Mac so Safari/Firefox are my main browsers, but Chrome allows me to work faster when doing the Ice Racing. It integrates all the Google functions into one place. Hope this helps
