Nutz 132 Posted September 29, 2010 End of an Era and a dismal season for Bydgoszcz, as it's announced that 2011 will see 3GP's in Poland - at Leszno, Torun and Gorzow... No place for Gollob's back yard next year - those travelling to Poland next weekend, should make the most of it, as the next 5yrs will be a Bydgoszcz wilderness:( http://speedwaygp.com/en/newsdetail/a1992

Current agreements between BSI and Polish club are valid till: 2012 - Leszno 2014 - Torun 2015 - Gorzow So I guess the earliest GP may come back to Bydgoszcz is 2013. I hope that by that time the city authorities will pump lots of money into Bydgoszcz speedway and we'll finally have a new speedway stadium built in Bydgoszcz (in the same place as the current one - the track, pits and the grand stand would be saved). I came to conclusion that until it gets modernised, I won't be going there anymore. The racing track at Bydgoszcz is good. No doubt about, but as far as spectactor's conditions are concerned...well, this is another story.
Mateusz 0 Posted September 30, 2010 Some numbers: 70 000 USD - that's how much Bydgoszcz paid for the right to organise the first GP tournament in Bydgoszcz ever (in 1998) 200 000 GBP - that's how much Bydgoszcz pay now 440 000 GBP - that's how much Gorzow will be paying just for one tournament in the next 5 years... BSI must be very happy guys doing their business with the silly Poles
Dexter 1 Posted October 3, 2010 Gollob is awesome at both Bydgoszcz and Gorzow, I don't think removing Bydgoszcz from the list will seriously affect his performance.
