Bit cold, bit dull. So was the weather.

A great turn out for such a likeable rider.

The donut contest was fun, adam being the winner (naturally).

Great too see Sam and Ronnie still going at it like kids, i swear both could still do a job in the EL.

Tai and Parker had a few laps (at full gas) in jocks and boots - MANIACS!!!!!

A few heats of what you might call decent racing, Freddie and Schlein being the standout.

Notable mentions - Ty still appears to be struggling with set ups (big concern).

- Andersson looks an exciting talent. Once he has ridden the A fixture for Poole he will be a big threat in the B. Looks quick and certainly not afraid to mix it. Was in the mix and passing from his 1st race.

- Eddie looked slow when behind. Not sure if not trying or not interested.

- Andersen certainly got found wanting trying to pass Fred, a close examination of the 2nd bend fence saw to that. :approve: No idea why he was so peed off at King for in the 1st race. Was an an untidy start with Andersen blasting thru the taps then gesturing at King all down the back straight - resulting in king showing him his back wheel. They both tried to stop each other in the rerun, resulting in them both drifting to the fence and out of contention. So its not just Nicki P he picks fights with then. :P Anyway, queue win for Ludig - sorted. :approve:

Good to see a Wolves team win on the day - given that is where his heart belongs so the right result on the day.

Loved the PK and Sqora battle in heat 17 too. I think PK was just letting Adam play but it was entertaining all the same with Adam `stealing` the 2nd place on the run to the line.

Track times were slower than usual too.

Great day. Thanks to all the people who have been busy organising this. Huge thank you to them letting Mikey be Hans's

mascot for the day he had a super time. Thanks to Hans for giving him a hat he was chuffed with it. He also loves his race jacket which was much cheaper than the one i brought lol.

Most of all thanks to Adam for the entertainment.

I was at this meeting and thought it was a fitting tribute to a true legend of the sport and all round nice guy. The organisers did a very good job and made sure that the crowd were entertained at all times, with junior races, Sam Ermolenko vs Ronnie Correy, the donut competition (there could only be one winner, although Shane Parker did pretty well too!) and even a bit of streaking from Mr Woffinden and Mr Parker. They must have been freezing...

The centre green announcer had a bit of banter with the crowd, trying to get us involved and cracked a few jokes too. Although his dancing left alot to be desired ha ha.

The racing wasn't as good as i have seen it at Wolverhampton previously, but there were some good races and the riders all put on a good show. Watch out for Dennis Andersson, one for the future. Such a shame his engine blew in the final race!

All in all, an enjoyable day.

Steve .... it was all play acting, they were laughing their heads off and playing it up .... remember they used to be team mates and Hans has helped Daniel quite a few times in the past as he has with many other riders, fans and sponsors .... Shame he is going to be a Bee again !!

I have placed an original unique painting on Ebay of Adam Skornicki painted by artist & speedway fan Paul Puttnam.

Paul painted 2 pictures, 1 donated to Adam himself & this one donated to Adam to raise funds for his Testimonial. Painting measures 20 inches x 16 inches.

This painting has been signed by the Wolves team & is a fantastic likeness to Adam performing his signature "donut" & all monies will go to Adam's Testimonial Fund in recognition of his services.
