MrMungo 708 Posted May 1, 2012 Does anyone have the format of Danish racing as it looks different to all the rest. 6 man teams over 15 heats? Here's the PDF from the most recent meeting. http://speedway-league.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/500-05-01-2012-OSC-GSK-1.pdf It's far from ideal, but it shows the format. 14 heats - 13 & 14 are nominated. The number 4's race against each other 4 times! That's the format for the top league. The 1st Division (effectively 2nd Division) have a new format, which is raced between 3 teams. pandorum 1,259 Posted May 2, 2012 (edited) Thanks for that. Makes it easier to follow what's going on "The number 4's race against each other 4 times!" Very strange format in Denmark. Do we know who the teams are for tonight? Edited May 2, 2012 by pandorum

Do we know who the teams are for tonight? Holsteds strong B-run Nicolai Klindt crashed Monday night in England and has a broken shoulder blade and had to cancel Wednesday's match, instead Rudi Steen Hansen picked up the strong Przemyslaw Pawlicki in Poland. Så sent om lørdag kunne han opleves som Wild Card ved Grand Prix løbet i Leszno. So, late Saturday, he could be perceived as Wild Card at the Grand Prix race in Leszno. Holsted Holsted 1. First Nicki Pedersen Nicki Pedersen 2. Second Patrick Hougaard Patrick Hougaard 3. I can then lope 5 hours off that and be back from work to watch here in the USA. For what it is worth the stream from Kanal is working fine for me as i type. Hope that is the case when the tapes go up . Regards. Alan.

Much preffered the old system. Now the same riders ride against each othertoo often imo.If one rider is that bit better it is rathera foregone conclusion far too often.Ok,when you get two riders that are on a par then it makes for an exciting night, but i seem to be out of luck most times of late for my DSL visits.Of course they cut down the numbers for a reason. Not so sure on the idea of a 4team Final either. And my first experience on saturday of the new 3 team system......also wondering why?Seems especially for the youngsters, the more riders involved the better. With the 4 tt there wereat least at each meeting more riders to see.Not sure how the numbers work over a season though.Whether less riders get a chance or more or the same.......Must do the maths

A good link for 'live' time conversion every second of the year is http://timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html I had a quick recce of the site yesterday and it had 'stream not available'. However, checked it earlier and it was streaming high quality without a glitch and no need of a plugin. From what i can discern the plugin isn't/shouldn't necessarily be requisite. I will download it if need be though.
