Leicester Lions V Berwick Bandits Sun 25/08/13 6pm

I'm taking it that this something Kozza has ever done before, himself?

No-one is saying Kozza is an angel here but little Bjerre made 2 very hard moves on Kozza that could have ended in a mess.

To be honest I'm not really talking about what happened on the track.

Kozza Smith went back to the pits, and allegedly hit Bjerre (who is about 4 foot 2 and 2 stone socking wet) for something he deemed wrong.

That really is a sign of how much self control the man has, what a fine example to set. Plus, he is the Captain of his team.

Okay.. Next time someone turns right on a Lion on more than one occasion, lets see how he reacts.. see how much self control he has! Kozza is a fine example of a rider and it just shows how truly aggrieved he was at the time that he lashed out in that manner!

Maybe he was lashing out because he had had a poor meeting and Lasse's move tipped him over the edge.

Lets get this correct. Bjerre DIDN'T turn right on Kozza. Kozza was unfortunate to be on the outside of Bjerre but not totally level with him going into the 3rd turn. Karlsson was on the inside of Bjerre and the gap Kozza was in was always going to disappear due the 2 Lions riders taking the natural racing line for the track. In Kozzas defence though, he would have had a fairly limited view of the situation, but he should have been aware that the gap was going to disappear. Swearing at the referee in the pits after his handbags session didn't help his wallet either. But that's racing, it doesn't always pan out as people expect and adrenaline can get the better of people at times.

It is what you call hard racing

Could you tell me what Jan's problem was with Paul in heat 14.

Fans of both teams are naturally lining up on the side of "their" rider, but a neutral will tell you little Bjerre has previous in respect of naughty moves. Kozza's reaction seems justified, his fines weren't for giving the Dane a slap, or a push (depending on who tells the tale) but for not biting his tongue when the referee arrived in the pits.

Heat of the moment incident nothing more nothing less ,will will soon have a rule that indicators should be fitted to bikes and used on such occasions,or you will be excluded.

Well that coming from someone who swore blind Starkey was riding for no one but Berwick on Sunday carry's an incredible amount of weight :-)

I'd say both sides are going to stick up for the rider we consider ours. I suppose agree to disagree is the way forward as, they have probably forgotten all about it now and we are squabbling like kids
