dontforgetthefueltapsbruv 10,706 Posted December 4, 2013 Seems it wont be Manzares - he has tweeted that he is a Witch in 2014.
Nellie 144 Posted December 4, 2013 Apologies if he's already been mentioned but what about max fricke. Not sure what his el avg would be. Fricke's too high at 3.48. Birks seems to be the stand out candidate, but that would be three double uppers. Is there a limit on them this year?
Phil The Ace 2,860 Posted December 4, 2013 Can only have 3 double uppers. So count out birks The inly riders I can think of are Tyson burmeister Lukasz Sowka
ZODIAK 304 Posted December 4, 2013 I'm hearing Manzares is PL bound..And PL bound he is. Ipswich Witches and full Ipswich asset to boot.
JT 167 Posted December 4, 2013 (edited) Would Henning Bager be an option? (I should've said if!) his average fits. Hardly a world beater, but has plenty of EL experience, is something of a small track specialist (despite his association with Peterborough) and scored 17 at BV a few years back. Edit; Messed up the calculation somewhat (see Phil The Ace below)!JT. Edited December 4, 2013 by JT

Dornier 795 Posted December 4, 2013 (edited) Think Scott will have a better season riding alongside Zagar and Cook......Its looking quite promising for the Aces with three Kirky lane track specialists......Good luck to the Aces just a shame they`re not at the New arena.... TheSmiler 420 Posted December 4, 2013 Looks like Coventry and Belle Vue could be shaping up to be taking us back a few years and ending up at the top end.
Shalerash 1 Posted December 4, 2013 Looks the best team in years and well worth watching, i would have rather had Josh Bates instead of Ben Reade but you cant have it all eh.
T.N.T. 355 Posted December 4, 2013 Can only have 3 double uppers. So count out birks The inly riders I can think of are Tyson burmeister Lukasz Sowka Tyson isn't intetested in riding in Britain while Sowka was under so much pressure last time from his Polish track he was a shadow of the rider we thought he could be but it's unlikely he or Wolves would want him to sign up. The last place will be of little importance with a top four like that but a few names that may be worth consideration are Linus Eklof and Mattheiu Tresarrieu or Kyle Legault ? Think Nielsen may be getting a few extra rides in 2014 if the last signing struggles
Gloves 70 Posted December 5, 2013 Like the look of the belle vue team, good year ahead I reckon. If they can grab a bargain 5th top 5 rider it could be an awesome year. Would be good to see them challenging.
Halifaxtiger 5,318 Posted December 5, 2013 With Stef signing and providing the track is as decent as it was at the back end of last season the Aces will be getting at least one new paying customer on most (if not all) weeks as well.
DexterBeauregarde 2 Posted December 5, 2013 Good team building this year, nice to see majority of british riders as well. Hoping Nicholls will bring on Cook and Worrell to heat leader status. Agree that they have to get that track sorted though, speedway has never been pretty riding a ploughed field!
SUPERACE 440 Posted December 5, 2013 the track was superb last season.
