a great meeting with some first class racing. these guys have nerves of steel, especially racing sooo close to a concrete wall!! a full house with fans from all over aussie made for a good atmosphere.

any news on jim and dale irwin??? they took a crunching fall on the back straight and were carted off to hospital.

Boy am i glad that weekend is over - Lots of Cold beer, good company and a win for Team GoBNoB what more can you want, good to catch up with Frank Smart again also.

The racing was superb both nights with the young pairing of Scott Christopher / Trent Koppe being a bit unlucky, but i'm sure they will be the future of the sport for many years to come, he looks like a filmstar, defianatley not in the mould of your normal sidecar rider.

It will be interesting what happens in the next couple of weeks in regards to Bibra Lake Speedway as apparently the developers who are closing Bibra down were there and with that amount of fans voting with there feet, hopefully they will realise what a tragedy it will be if they close the track.

Well done to Bibra Lake Speedway / TQ Car Club on a superb effort. :approve:

Congratulations to Glenn and Nathan - thanks for the memories guys, party on :D

Might catch you on the 20th March aussiegal.

ozyace, it was 1 hell of a night, [couldnt get 2 saturdays meeting] the racing was excellent, crowd was humming, and the best team won on the night!!! what more could you want :D

congrats to the o'briens, we'll certainly miss them in W.A they are a credit to the sport. agree that the christopher/koppe pairing will be the next big thing and they were very unlucky on the night.

any idea what the lineup will be on the 20th???

Even Aunty (ABC Radio) got in on the act  , with Nathan O'Brien being interviewed by Liam Bartlett on his morning talkback show on the Tuesday after the Aust Sidecar Championships.

Liam and another guy on the programme were also reminiscing about the good old days at Claremont Showgrounds when Chum Taylor and the like were roaring around Fowlhouse Corner.
