Had Enough 233 Posted April 11, 2014 And Cam has hardly scored a point yet! Very positive so far but I am not totalling my egg laying foul yet. A long way to go. Might have to cry fowl on that! Great win, after it looked last week that that Devils had got themselves dialled-in at the SBA. Next big test is Good Friday against Peatboghorror - we will have to brace ourselves for all sorts of gumph from "Hougaard Racing Fans" ...
Penny Cross 120 Posted April 11, 2014 Oh deary me. Dreadful performance from the Devils. Congratulations to the Witches on a great win, thoroughly deserved. Richie Worrall was superb. His team ride in Ht11 was sublime. His chase, pass and out manoeuvre of Barker in Ht15 was pure class. Easily one of the best rides Ive seen at SBA. Five race winners at home is simply not good enough. The deficit would have been even greater had Ritchie been riding tonight. No mention of the new track record in Ht1 by Barker, 50.10. No team riding from Devils. No evidence of being a team, just a bunch of individuals. No apology from the management or riders for the poor performance. No mention about last nights meeting at Ipswich. Unacceptable.

CardinalSin 346 Posted April 11, 2014 "During the meeting Cameron Heeps found the track conditions were unsettling his wrist" From the official website, so there is our answer. Such a shame and I seriously hope this isn't either a permanent, or long term problem for the lad. http://www.ipswichwitches.co/index.php/news-centre/800-devils-succumb-to-witches-spell
Steve Irving 393 Posted April 11, 2014 (edited) Crikey! So Ippo were missing their best reserve in Ellis, (although Schramm scored well in his absence), had their captain withdraw late with a stomach bug and replaced with a NL rider, had Manzares suffering with same complaint but rode anyway, Heeps still suffering with a long term wrist injury and Tungate not yet back to full fitness from a badly cut and infected hand. And they still win by 11 away from home! Doesn't get more impressive than that Edited April 11, 2014 by Steve Irving
Icicle 896 Posted April 11, 2014 Morten showed his usual liking for Plymouth! Onwards & Upwards for Witches!
ancient mariner 540 Posted April 12, 2014 (edited) Chris Schramm in his first 2 rides Why can't he do that at Brough (Just kidding) Why didn't he ride like that for the Devils last season? (Not kidding) Edited April 12, 2014 by ancient mariner
Roger MARTIN 128 Posted April 14, 2014 (edited) You got to wonder that they bring Reade back this year, yet he was a lot worse than Schramm was last year, Chris showed on Friday that he is different class than Reade, to be honest I don't think Reade is in the top dozen NL riders. Morten showed his usual liking for Plymouth! Onwards & Upwards for Witches! He made it look easy on Friday. Edited April 14, 2014 by Devildodger
