A heavy home defeat in the 1st Leg of the KO Cup for Long Eaton. The Invaders failed to win a heat, and Ben Holloway provided their only first place finish of the match. Kings Lynn were only able to track three riders and so were forced to use the R/R facility, but their no.1 Josh Bailey cruised to a 12 point maximum and was ably supported by Alec Wright who rattled up 9+2. Their progress in the competition now looks a mere formality. The 2nd leg is scheduled for April
