StevePark 2,783 Posted May 29, 2014 We (well me, anyway) welcome Chris and his battling displays to Newcastle. Feel a bit sorry for Dan G., but, hopefully his time will come in the future.

CaptainAudi 147 Posted May 29, 2014 I'd guess that the new averages, to run from Sunday onwards will see Chris Mills' CMA reduced to 3.00, as he had a few poor (by his standards) matches in May. Presumably Newcastle won't be able to re-declare until June averages are released. Realised that May have been the case after I posted, didn't realise the new averages were so soon! NJC71 388 Posted May 29, 2014 Makes sense and a real bonus that he is now on a 3 and can replace Dan Greenwood. No disrespect to Dan but he didn't look ready. If we can get Rose and Schramm fit we look a bit stronger at the bottom end.
Islander15 1,065 Posted May 31, 2014 Every NL team is only allowed 1 person over 30 years old, so take that into account. But he'd be 5.08 with his converted Pl average of 3.05. For dropping down you use the higher of the 2 figures: his converted PL average or last NL average. When he rode for Bournemouth his average was above 10 so he'd use that and not 5.08.
