Adder 94 Posted June 3, 2014 I note with some mild amusement that Nikolai Klindt is guesting for Swindon in place of Nick Morris on Thursday.
Crazy robin 2,966 Posted June 3, 2014 Surely there is someone with an average nearer Nick's to guest?
Shale Searcher 1,264 Posted June 3, 2014 Better weather forecast for Thursday (at the moment) However, there is a plume on its way that is not in the forecast yet and this could well make Thursdays forecast a tad different... We could end up with around 21c/23c, sunshine, high humidity and thundery showers.. hopefully we'll be ok..
A ORLOV 8,628 Posted June 3, 2014 (edited) Since leaving Swindon Nikolai has been doing better, so we will see if that performance continues on thursday. It is a shame that Nick Morris, who for some reason had a nightmare at Birmingham, is not able to ride against Jason. Will look forward to the return of Jason and Mads, who go well at Blunsdon and should provide some good races. I wonder which guests Leicester will use for this meeting but Swindon should get all three points Edited June 3, 2014 by A ORLOV
Crazy robin 2,966 Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) A rubbishy start to the day so let's hope the rain holds back as Swindon need to start building some momentum. Edited June 4, 2014 by Crazy robin
Chalkie 263 Posted June 4, 2014 Let's hope that the opportunity to continue in the UK at PL level has helped Nicolai's confidence and that he can attack the first bend with a bit more fire in his belly than when he was last with us! Have to say that I was surprised that he accepted the booking after what was done to him but it shows that Speedway riders need to earn money above all and that failure is not for the want of trying. Go Nicolai!

Go Nicolai! He did say he thought about saying no & will be flying into England just for this meeting & then back out again so fair play to him.

Reliant Robin 492 Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) Plenty of rain the day before is usually the best preparation providing the day of the meeting is dry. No better way of watering the track evenly Edited June 4, 2014 by Reliant Robin
stevethelion 192 Posted June 4, 2014 Leicester team now confirmed Jason Sam Masters (G) Mads Lasse Patrick H (R/R) Tom Perry Max Clegg Tom Perry as been dropped by Leicester & replaced by Josh Bates, but as Bates is riding for Sheffield tomorrow is place is taken by Joe Jacobs. Lions website shows guest or R/R for Hougaard so doesn't look like they have decided yet.

The dropping and replacement must be from friday, other wise they would not be allowed to use Joe as his place on the list is below Tom, which is allowed, but above Josh, which is not allowed.
