jeffster 60 Posted March 5, 2004 (edited) Anyone stayed in the Hotel on Pardubice Train Station, which I think is called the "Sirius" ? Was wondering what it was like..... In answer to my own question - "A crap place with no shower in room" , according to a mate in Czecho... I am now staying at "Pension Atrium" in the centre of Pardubice this year... Any other forum members going to the Golden Helmet this year ? Edited March 17, 2004 by jeffster

jeffster 60 Posted March 10, 2004 Thanks guys.... I know where the Hotel is, as I have been to every Golden Helmet since 1997, but never having stayed at the Sirius, I wondered what the rooms were like, the quality of the food, etc....
shazzybird 10 Posted March 11, 2004 Jeffster as long as there is speedway there's always hotdogs and burgers so foods not a problem as far as the room is concerned if the room looks minging sleep in the bath! Hope it turns out to be a nice hotel xx

There's 15 of us this year (getting more each year) on Brown's Tours. 14 are coming out on Thursday to Tuesday but sadly I cannot arrive until Saturday. Flight lands in Prague at 9am, so with a quick cab and a couple fo hours on the train I may just make the Junior Helmetat 12pm. Haven't booked a hotel yet, I'll let you know where we are staying. Did you say Helen wasn't going this year............just you on your own ??

jeffster 60 Posted March 29, 2004 Must confess that I have never heard of "Pension Klara" , Chris..... The places I stay at I usually find through www.motylek.com , or via the YHA Sites....

That place we stayed at last year Jeff was DOUBLE the price by booking through Motylek than by booking direct with the hotel. The tariff was just so much lower once you were there. Pension Klara is a small pension in a side street opposite the Park Hotel and Casino very close to Strossmayerovo Namesti
