The track was pretty heavy at the start of the meeting, after light drizzle in heat 7 the riders were struggling and going very near the fence, then the heavier stuff came and on the first bend where we were the track looked totally saturated and like a skating rink round the inside line. As a Sheffield fan (who was totally wet through due to lack of cover) of course I would say that the correct decision was made as it gives us another chance, but this was pretty obvious wasn't it or do we now ride to get a result at all costs ??? The way Thomas Jorgensen passed Nico Covatti in Heat 8, the track was still fine. Had things been pushed forward at that stage, the meeting would have reached Heat 10 before the really heavy stuff came down. All the best Rob 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
